Anyone have an extra MAF! I’m switching to a speed density system and I’d like to make a dummy tube to take the place of the MAF, but I don’t have one and need to get all measurements. I can return it to you quickly if desired and I’ll pay shipping both ways via reimbursement.
Thanks in advance. |

Maybe you could use PVC pipe or cardboard tubing. Or just use thin flexible cardboard as a layout.

Those are good ideas Mat.
But as I was driving to work today, I got a flash. I stopped at Oreilly and got an exhaust connector, 3”by 3” ID on both ends. As it turns out, it’s a pretty good fit on both ends. I bought two in case it’s too short, I can weld a bit on. Now all I need do is figger out the placement of the lip for the spring-clamps that hold the airbox to the MAF and put it on. Thanks for helping though. If I hadn’t come up with this, I’d have probably used one of your ideas. |
