SUNNY, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE GLAD TO SEE THE SUN.

EVERYTHING IS GREENING UP, IF IT EVER DRYS OUT I'LL HAVE TO MOW. GETTING THE MOWER BOGGED IS NO FUN SO I'LL JUST WAIT.
NO HARDSHIP, THAT ;-)

IT MAY BE A DAY WITHOUT VISITORS; THAT WILL BE A CHANGE.

DARLING WIFE IS PROGRESSING NICELY, PUSHING A FOUR WHEEL WALKER AND DOING STUFF IN THE KITCHEN. SHE DOES NOT APPROVE OF MY KITCHEN PROCEDURES---WHO'D UV THUNK IT?

Good morning, all.

Chilly and cloudy in the Philadelphia area this morning. In contrast to Florida, we've had a cold April.

Gris, glad to know that darling wife continues to mend.

TeeBee, not only do you do good woodwork, but you also take good pictures of it.

TommyT-Bone, there's a post up on Eighties Cars on the 1985 Chevrolet S-10 Maxi-Cab pickup truck. Not sure where that inspiration came from …

Morning guys...was sleeping in...even by our new normal standards, and the doorbell rings. Its one of our neighbors returning a tool they borrowed yesterday and they had fresh caught frozen fish as a thank you.

I'll be headed to the shop pretty soon. Hopefully will be ready to stain by the end of the day.

Good to hear DW is doing well, Gris. Thanks to Bob for the nice comment yesterday.

Thanks John, I like to think I have a decent photographic eye.....put myself through college doing photography. Worked on the yearbook, school newspaper and as a freelance. But photography is different today.

Tee does exceptional work based on the photos I've seen. I have a nice wine stopper to boot that I get regular compliments on.
Marcus, yes he could help me with the plumbing work! LOL! I'm not touching it. It now at least has shut off valves on there, fingers crossed one of those don't mess up or else my ceiling will be clean. Whoever did some of the things in this house got their contractor's permit from a Cracker Jack box. Slowly one by one we're straightening it all out.
I have 30 bags of mulch waiting on me so may take off tomorrow to get up and get some of that done, then rest the remainder of the day. I can work Friday to make my work day up. I'm in the middle of a racecar hood, Freddie Kreuger theme and will be printed on blue chrome. I can't get it through his head that it will not look right, color-wise. The blue of the material will interfere with everything else.
Oh well, the sun is shining, temps are up some, gonna try to make the best of it.
Gris, glad to hear the wife is getting along good. None of us women like how men do things in the kitchen by the way lol.

I always say our house was built by gypsy felons. We have the original plans and there are a bunch of things that were built differently than the plans show.

My house was built great in 1972 and later had add ons for a grow house in the garage. lol Not my grow house. I had to clean it all up, take down a wall built against the garage door and a shit ton of insulation.

Only 30 bags of mulch VB? Easy peasy. I have always appreciated tee's art with wood.

Two trips to MIL and FIL's One with plants to freshen up the lot and then run up a wheelchair from the house. We had two here in storage. Too hot to do anything outside now. Can only think of one thing that I should do inside.

I'll check it out John.

REMINDS ME OF A PLACE WE LOOKED AT ON LAKE EUFAULA YEARS AGO.
REALLY GREAT LOCATION, ONLY HOUSE ON A PENINSULA, LAKE ON THREE SIDES. REALLY NICE FLOOR PLAN. BUT THERE WAS NOTHING LEVEL OR PLUMB IN THE WHOLE HOUSE. LOOKED LIKE IT WAS BUILT BY A BUNCH OF DRUNKS :-0 IT WAS LIKE A CARNIVAL FUN HOUSE.

GOES TO SHOW LOCATION IS NOT EVERYTHING---

John yes, gypsy felons! I've learned a new word. our has was added on to at some point. It appears to have been gutted and redone interior wise. And, the master suite and bath, etc was a compelte add on. The baseboards, other trim, cabinets, bath are excellent. The crown moulding is something a gypsy felonw would do!
Tommy, the 30 bags is for the front, I need another 25 for the back but that's plenty enough for me to haul around lol.
