What a great day to be alive ......... I had a million things to do before the lock down started. Since I've had to stay home I've done a number of things leaving me with about a million things to do after the lock down is over. Really, there hasn't been too much of a change in my life outside of the travel restrictions and my shopping habits. I'm actually kinda getting used to it.

Good morning, all.

Tom, I find I'm working hard, but mostly on the same things I would be doing this month if I was physically at the University. Thus, one of my big annual April presentations was still an April presentation and still big. It went off very well on Tuesday afternoon.

Well... It's hot here in SoCal... a mini early heat wave is hitting today. Could hit 90!!!

It breaks tomorrow.

Had some ceiling lights installed on Wednesday. I picked up a new fixture for the kitchen and 2 for the family room. All LED. The kitchen light is SUPER bright... I expect planes to land... the family room lights are a bit more subdude. I suspect it's as much the size of the room and the colour. The kitchen is WHITE!!! The FR is a light tan... so less reflective.

Still sheltering, still job searching.

Hope everyone is healthy!!

I like everything bright. 100 watts for me is everybody else's 60. Not even a 75 will do. Luckily new tech draws less power and provides as good light through fewer watts. I have 3 100 watt equivalent bulbs over my head in the home office with a ceiling fan.

Hey guys...Busy day for me. I spent the majority of it with GS#3. All morning modifying a table into a desk for him, then helping him with his shop class project, so he can turn it in. Then Rosie and I headed back to the 'city' to pick up some materials to add a wall for his room.....Once home, I couldn't help but to get started.

I'm meeting with a guy in the morning about some work he wants me to do for him, I need to go look at another project for the lady who had the house moved and set earlier in the week and that I built a china cabinet for. Well, her modular house didn't come the way she thought she had had them build it, so she wants me to modify some of the cabinetry. After looking at that job, I am going to go back to #2s house and work on the wall. And in between all that I'm smoking ribs for the three GSs/GS#1s GF, Rosie and I for supper tomorrow night.
