The rain on the plain is mainly over Homestead. Rough night's sleep. Back was aching and where you might want to go lay down, laying down seemed to exacerbate the pain. Being tired I didn't want to get out of bed. Besides, who wants to be roaming the house at 04:00 A.M. wondering what to do when there is nothing you CAN do. With the current grey skies and lack of restful sleep I see little choice but engage a nap at some point today. Yesterday I laid down around 02:00 and got up around 04:15. I felt like I needed a nap after waking from my nap.

Aloha!

It was hot yesterday... And when it breaks 85 or so in San Pedro, that's hella hot!

For you all who don't know the LA area, San Pedro is actually a suburb of LA City. If you send me mail to San Pedro or Los Angeles, we will get it. Same town, San Pedro is just a residue of the hostile takeover about 120 years ago! LA wanted control of the ever growing Port here... so a snagging they came...

However, SP is then close to the water. And being close to the colder Pacific means that it is cooler here. Sadly, our house is on the wrong side of the hill, blocking some of that cooler air... Alas, we do get hotter here... But 85 is pretty damned hot... considering that DTLA, about 20 miles north of us, was nearer to 100!

It's supposed to be below 80 today. And drop another 10 tomorrow. Should be partly cloudy and 70 for next week.

Today... Laundry... need to get started working on the C6... got tune up parts and need to fix the radiator support bracket. Get it into the back drive and jack it up.

Also need to research the code caused by a problem with the evap emissions. It could be as easy as a bad fuse or a screwed up harness caused buy the installation of the cat back. According to my research, that harness is exposed to the fatter pipes or something like that... I am out to check that stuff.

I hope to get it back there and jacked up today. Then I can start labour tomorrow!

Oh... need to bleed the brakes, too.

And continue the job hunt. Anyone wanna learn C# with me?

That's my next few days.

Hey guys...Slept in to new normal time, got up and got ready to go see the guy about a small job. That took an hour and a half, and in the end, I think I talked him out of the big project and into a more manageable, but functional, project.

After that I came home and threw the ribs on the grill (marinated overnight) and went over to #2s house and got GS #3 around to help with building the wall for his room. got the studs up hole drilled in one of the stud spaces (for electrical to be supplied) insulated the empty spaces and put the sheetrock up that I can. Have to wait on SIL to pull the wire into the one space, then I'll put the last piece of insulation and the last full piece of rock up.

Had to stop once to come home and tend to the ribs. Had the three boys and one GF over for supper...they made quick work of the 2 slabs of ribs....they were good, if I do say so myself.

Went for a bike ride as the weather is near perfect...after a day of cloudiness and scattered showers.

I'm tired and ready for bed.
