Good Morning CGs!

Weather is a little nicer today. Not raining constantly and should hit 62*. Still not warm enough but getting there.

Gris - glad the wife is getting around better.

Tommy - good luck on the upcoming / planned surgery.

Hope everyone has a great day!

good morning, beautiful day here, on the chilly side. we're told to expect 'record lows' this week.
pool people supposed to be at the house today and tomorrow for a drain and refit of the liner (third time) maybe this time'll get it.
Vette club meeting last night was lawn chairs out in the restauran'ts parking lot, carry out food. like a picnic. We enjoyed it , and of course, since there were a parking lot full of corvettes, any mustang that drove by had to make his presence known.
Gris glad to hear the wife is up and around.

VB if you are collecting those I can send you another one....

went in to have a semi annual blood test today. I waited in the car after calling them from the parking lot...they came out to get me and we walked into a side stairwell in the building and there they had a blood testing station sat up.... I was there about 5 minutes and had to wear a mask of course. The tech's all had masks and face shields on ...... then they kicked my out until the Doc will call me on my phone for a vid conference in a couple of days. that is how it is right now...

I did walk into a Micky Dee's today and order from the counter...... the iHop was not letting folks in yet so in desperation I went next door to Micky's..... big let down....

back at work now and so far so good..... I did take in the 56 to Lincoln today and was unhappy with the tire and wheel balance.... its good up to 60 then falls apart at about 65 to 75..... took it back to them and said fix it..... so they are ...... sometimes you need weights on the inside and outside of the wheel..... and they only have stick on weights on the inside..... for looks you know......

have a groovy day Guru's....

Gris, haven't had an uptick in my heartbeat in over 36 years.

VB. That will make a nice paperweight when it's cleaned up a little.

Marcus. I have got rid of vehicles because they couldn't get rid of a high speed vibration. And I've had too many of them do that.

Mailed in my payment to the local power company. Got the invoice yesterday for $400 for the new two way meter. One step closer to solar connection.

Yeah we are on the search for what is causing it. When we first bought the car and drove it back from Oregon it was smooth as glass.... then we took those wheels and tires off and put on these new stock replacement wheels that are 15 x 7". Originals were 15 X 5" wide. put a set of Coker tires on it and we had trouble with those so sent them back and got a set of B F Goodrich Silvertowns........ that did not change anything..... had them rebalanced today and went out to drive it and the same damn thing was going on.

Finally took the back wheels off and put a micrometer on them and they are both out of round and one is way off. Had them order a new pair of wheels from another vendor and will see if they are any bettor... The fronts mic'd out pretty good....... the drive line and axels and U joints and motor mounts are all good..... so am hoping its the wheels that were probably made in China...... damnation..... always something...

Hey guys... was a busy day here. Beautiful weather, low 70s, sunny and light breeze.

Worked in the shop all day...well, except when the lumber truck showed up and I had to unload a bunch of stuff. A friend had me order some 2x Southern yellow pine boards for a big project he is doing they were all 12"+ wide and almost 16' long......HEAVY! Had to cut them in half so he could haul them home.

Worked on some plans for another friend (who owns the liquor store) and wants/needs to add on to it. So I drew up preliminary plans for him and will advise him in the project.

Went for a bike ride this evening...nice night for it. Dropped the plans I drew (at his home) off during this ride and chatted with him about them some.

That sucks about the wheels Marc, but glad you got it figured out. Tommy, one step closer to independence. Letty, what's he expect you to do with it? Nice pics of the 'meeting'. Gris, godd to hear wifey is progressing nicely.
