Sue went to her eye doc yesterday. They took her temp on 3 occasions and administered a Covid test at the hospital. Her results were negative. If she didn't have it there is a greater probability I never had it. I've been home most of the time over the past 6 weeks. My back has been keeping my activities limited. I'm going to try and step it up a notch today. Later this year I plan on going to have it looked at by a specialist to see if there is anything that will help. If they say physical rehab they can go skip a rope. No cortisone either. Not looking for surgery. I want a new drug, dammit. They avoid prescribing opioids so maybe they have an alternative in this new age of medicine. None of the old stuff helps much. Maybe I need to be eating more shark cartilage or something like leech application therapy. Perhaps 15 minutes on the rack.

A friend of mine sent me a school pic from way back in the day. I'm second row 4th over. Notice my expression of innocence.

Morning guys...up a little early (7:30). I've had a cup of joe and ready to head out to the shop.

Work on the end table continues. Work at the house is on hold until the sheetrock repairs and paint is complete, it's a modular house that came in from York, NE (you know the place Marc?). Quality is suspect......

sunny and cool this morning, highs in the upper 70s to low 80s are predicted.

Nice pic, Tommy! I think I could have picked you out!

CONGRATULATIONS ON OVERCOMING ALL THAT ;-)

SUNNY, CALM, AND COLDISH IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, IT'S SUPPOSED TO STORM THIS EVENING.

SLEPT IN TILL 0730 THIS MORNING, I USUALLY WAKE UP AN HOUR EARLIER. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA, MAY PIDDLE AROUND IN THE YARD, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SUNSHINE. DARLING WIFE CAME BACK FROM THE HAIRDRESSER WITH ALL THE LATEST NEWS---

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS!

Good Morning CGs!

More goofy weather. Will be 64 today and 47 tomorrow. Just can't win. Already took the dog for a walk so he could take care of business. We had the lawn fertilizer sprayed on yesterday so he needs to keep off the grass for a few days.

Got into it with the clerk at the post office yesterday. She's a horrible, terrible human being. I'm not just saying that. Miserable as they come. Refused to accept my package because it was a modified flat rate box. I told her that's allowed in your codes. She refused. I had to get a supervisor and then SHOW the supervisor the USPS bulletin that allows it (at regular rates). Then they took it. The supervisor didn't know it either and thanked me for the information.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Can't always read a book by the cover - those looks of innocence will get ya every time!
Well I took my paperweight home lol, texted a friend what I had and lo and behold apparently he needed one for something, didn't say what but he'd just bought one.
I have absolutely zero use for a carb on anything. period. My ATV has one and I'd rather it not.
I guess I could buy some high test line, hit the siphon access at the river and use it as a sinker. Would be good in those swift waters.
Hope everyone has a great day today, beautiful here but the lows, dang. Pool people have put us off for another couple weeks, there's some valve he wants in the bottom drain to help with liner floating during floods. WE usually don't have floods but we have this past year, of a biblical scale nearly, and then a ton of rain since. Our water table is up. Thus the 2-week delay. We will keep it as clean as possible and continue with the chlorine pucks until they come then we'll refill, add our salt and switch over.

Marcus!!! How you doing??

It's been hot here... cool/cold on the east usually equates to hotter than hell here. It was in the triple digits not all that far from here. I have described it before, but being so close to the ocean does buy us some cooler air. However, we are on the wrong side of the hill and don't always get the cooling breezes... We can get hotter here than other areas. But still cooler than most!

The heat is supposed to go through until tonight and moderate back to normal over the next few days.

I need to get to work on my C6... but that will wait until the temps drop!

I think today will be an office day. sounds like a nice idea!

You know it. My generation was just tailing the greasers. I was part greaser, part mod and later part hippy. Still am today.
