mornin'. Overcast and just rained here. Muggy bad. Thunder so loud it would split your head woke me up 6ish. I was just getting back to sleep from something waking me up at 430.
busy day yesterday, then got home to find out I needed to go mow the cousin's yard at her house (nursing home cousin) as the guy I paid to do it hasn't in 3 weeks. I drove by and seen grass too tall so got that handled and hired someone else. Went to message the regular dude and he's either deleted his FB and/or messenger or blocked me. Don't care either way, it's handled.
Lot to do today, then some more stuff when I get out of here, then at home, then get ready to get my foot unscrewed in the morning.
have a great day!

Good morning, all.

Two nasty storms came through yesterday and we lost power for good on the second one. At peak, 25% of the whole area was out of power. Now, we're part of the remaining "lucky" 10% still without juice.

They currently aren't promising it comes back on until late Friday night. Ivelis has brought me into her well-distanced office so I can still work.

Cooler today, only a 15% chance of a riot... 45% chance of a peaceful protest.

The protestors are not our problem, it's the imported rioters... those buggers can go home anytime.

What I find funny... all those internet devices - Internet of Things or IoT - anything that is Internet enabled, from smart phones to smart TVs and Ring doorbells, have what is called a MAC address... these addresses can be tracked!!! They can also be locked out! Apple is already tracking stolen products. And I don't blame them.

The grass may be greener in the other fellow's yard but I'm not looking. My green grass if plenty. Enough to keep me more than busy. The recent rains launched all growth into overdrive. There are weeds growing in the weeds. Watching and waiting for all the current state of affairs to pass. All things must pass.

This is a good one.

Hey guys, got a quick start (after I got up ) Went out to the shop to do the fix on the gate. Wasn't out there five minutes and got a phone call from the guy I'm helping replace siding on his dojo, his siding is in and he had the trailer, so I told him "Give me 30 minutes". No sooner than I hung up the phone was ringing again, the lady with the house wants me to come meet with her and the contractor about her fireplace...so I drop what I'm doing and run over, and tell them I have 30 minutes. The guy calls me and tells me I'm here, so I'm running 15 minutes behind.

Got a plan for the fireplace and made a trip to the 'city' to pick up siding materials (as usual, not everything was in, as they couldn't find/didn't send some materials). This afternoon I got the repairs made on the gate and waiting for finish to dry
