Up 'early'... well it was before 8... It was 100 yesterday, looking for the same the next two days, then cool off to the mid 90s and early next week upper 80s.

I've got a few things to do in the shop...better get to it.

Good morning, all.

We got our power back earlier than expected—our longest outage was a little over 22 hours. Everything in our house runs off electric, so that was not fun, but not catastrophic. Today is Ivelis' first "official" day back in her office—I think it'll be quite a while (six months, a year?) until I'm working in my office at the University.

By the way, Marcus, your description of the issues with your overpowered engine sounds like what I get normally with my 230 bhp L98.

SO NOW THE LOONY LEFT WANTS TO ABOLISH POLICE. WON'T THAT BE FUN---GLAD I HAVE PLENTY OF AMMO :-) JUST WHEN YOU THINK THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING DUMBER, THEY DO SOMETHING DUMBER.

We have dithered over this for years/decades. Every time we get close to buying, we have a couple of good years. Maybe it's time to pull the trigger …

The big units like the Generac were just too pricey for me... I've got a couple smaller units that will take care of the refrig/freezer and the internet.
