Morning guys...nice here too, for now. Low 70s but headed towards that century mark.

Not a lot planned. A friend gave me one of those 'stretchy bra" for 007. I've ordered the replacement snaps, so I'm thinking I might install that today. And the pickup needs a bit of cleanup......

I hope everyone here has a great Sunday.

Hi guys.
I’m getting ready to hop on the rider and do the grass. Maybe if I pretend it’s antifa it’ll be more fun?
Can’t do it to antifa trash, but I do it to grass.
Tee, stay cool man. Same with everyone else.

At least GM had figured out by the time Harvey was built that you might want multiple tops. For Lauren, it was "pick one and only one."

Read the white privilege post from the other day. I have supported equal rights since the 60's. I am not a racist I just don't like assholes no matter the color. There is one race. The human race. Lives matter. If people don't like my position or how I say it that's their problem, not mine. If equal opportunity is squandered and no effort is made to succeed that's a personal choice. I think I get riled up because they're trying to force me to believe something I've been practicing all my life. To me I take it as an insult. I try to avoid the news about Covid and the racist black lives matter movement. It's impossible. It's on every source of contact. The web, television, printed media, you name it. I'm looking for it to get covered by the sands of time. Till then I'll avoid the assholes.

Sue is still recovering. Her ankle wound blew open under the stitches and she has a big wound healing from the inside out. This makes 7 months of surgical recovery with her eye first then two foot surgeries. I'll be glad when this phase is over as well.

I have a friend whose mother was in the hospital and had cardiac arrest. They tried CPR for over a half hour but the doctors had declared she was beyond recovery. The doctor told my friend that her mother had passed. She went in to hold her mothers hand. Her mothers body was convulsing. The medical staff said it was because of the drugs they had pumped into her to try and keep her alive. After awhile she went home only to get a call that her mother was still alive and breathing. She went back to the hospital where the staff told her the needed a DNR order and they could then turn her mother over to hospice care. She could last for a couple of days or a couple of weeks. So her mother was dead. Then her mother was alive again. Within 24 hours her mother passed. Talk about a roller coaster.

I've been busy today. Making up for the past few of not doing much physically.

You know I thought I did a post this morning and now I don't see it..... hmmmm.....probably censored...... I was going on about my white privilege..... watched the 5 Bloods on Netflix last night and tried to keep an open mind but almost turned it off several times. The story isn't to bad and it does a credible job telling about the many Black kids that were drafted and sent to Nam to fight for a Country that was not treating them as equals... on that I had agree... other stuff not so much ..... A Spike Lee film

My BIL came over in his 09 Corvette and we clay barred it and got it looking very nice. Crystal Red Tint Coat can really take a shine...... now I must rest....

Yesterday was a good day for me. It's been about 18 years that I've wanted a navy blue metallic Trans am WS6 6-speed. Well that dream was finally realized Saturday morning. I drove a couple hours up to Milwaukee and I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. 22,000 original miles. The car is extremely nice. It needs a couple of small mechanical repairs due only to time and age. The hood was improperly prepared and painted from GM so that needs to be redone because the fiberglass is bleeding through the color coat. And the rear spoiler needs some small repair work and a repaint. But I'm very happy overall. Kids are happy, too.

The Corvette isn't going anywhere. My goal is to have 6 or 7 cars total once I'm at retirement age. Cars I've always wanted. If I wait until the right time when a deal comes along I can accomplish that.

Tommy is right, room for the kids. That was one of the biggest problems with the Corvette. They love the car already.
