0H WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING---
A SUNNY 65 DEGREES WHEN I GOT UP, WON'T LAST LONG THOUGH AND THE HUMIDITY IS UP IN THE YUCK RANGE.

HAD A BRIEF FIT OF INSANITY YESTERDAY AND MOWED ABOUT 2/3 OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE. NOW I'LL HAVE TO FINISH IT. DID SOME LONG AVOIDED CLEAN UP AROUND THE BARN.

#1 DAUGHTER COMING OVER TOMORROW, SHE SAYS, ARKIE DAUGHTER-IN-LAW WAS TO COME OVER WITH THE KIDS THIS WEEKEND BUT SHE CHICKENED OUT.

ALWAYS FORWARD!

Welcome to Philly in the summer!

Good morning, all.

I was originally going to head into the city this morning for my appointment with my specialist doctor at the VA. However, yesterday they made it a virtual appointment.  So, I'm already done with that and back to work.

Hey guys... home for lunch. Started out pretty nice but has warmed up, and our 'friend', the wind, has made a reappearance. Makes it a bit tough to work with the larger pieces of siding we had to use this morning. We did finish up the west side this morning. This afternoon, we will break the scaffolding down and move it to the south side.

Owner is thinking that is where we will stop for the day...me, I would like to get the first row put on, but I'm not the boss.... we'll see how it goes.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Warm day here. Daughter had her little group of besties over for the first time since the Cvirus pandemic. They've spent most of the day swimming and playing in the yard. They need it.

Scored a new set of screwdrivers from the SO Truck today. Fancy.

Hope everyone has a great day

Well, we didn't get as far as I had hoped. The owner (70 year old, but a very young 70) decided he had enough for the day, after we got the scaffolding moved. Freaking hot and the wind made a big return, We had also run short on the stainless screws we are using to put the siding on, so he was headed to the 'city' to pick more up. And he has a class ( teaches martial arts of some sort), he thought taking the rest of the afternoon off would allow him to recoup before his students arrive.

I took advantage and went out to the shop to work on an antique piece a lady brought in for me to repair.
