Good Morning CGs!

It will be hot here as well, something around 90.

Got some more work done in the yard yesterday. Put down weed control mat in one area of the garden, dug out an old 4x4 post wall, transplanted some day lilies, and moved more rock. Of course it needs to be done in the afternoon / evening due to the heat. More rock moving scheduled for later. Getting closer though.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Howdy. Hot and humid. I'm doing alright trying to build my summer stamina up. I push myself. I know when I start getting chills at 05:00 PM and it''s in the 90's. I hyrdrate frequently. What's the worst that can happen? ;) ( If I haven't posted anything in over a week, you'll know what happened.)

WHEN I USED TO WORK OUT IN THE SUN, BACK IN THE NEW STONE AGE, I FOUND THAT DRINKING LOTS OF WATER AND POPPING SALT PILLS KEPT ME GOING WITHOUT PROBLEMS, OTHER THAN SALT ENCRUSTED CLOTHING :-) GUESS THAT GATORADE TYPE STUFF IS WHAT PEOPLE USE TODAY AND SALT TABS ARE OBSOLETE.

Yeah I remember salt tabs.... little orange pills...that tasted salty... I decided it worked just as well to have them put extra salt on my french fries everyday..... I came back from Sturgis one time in 104 degree heat.... felt cool to me as the wind took the sweat away.... I did not drink much on the way... got back home and slammed down 2 beers and then got sick as a dog... chills and throwing up.... finally had the presence of mind to drink some water with salt mixed in it...threw up the first batch but drank another one and the body balanced out. Did not ever do that again. When riding in the heat I would drink a bottle of Gatoraid or water every gas stop..... just thought you should know that....

Hey guys, up early to beat the heat. We finished up installing the siding before noon and loaded most of the tools in the truck. Came back after lunch and broke down the scaffolding and took it back. Brought GS (who helped every day.. his forehead is healing right up) home with me to help unload and put tools away.

It only got up to 104 this afternoon. Headed out to the golf course for Mens' night. I trust you all had a great day.

Oh my oldest facetimed me today to show me what her hubby bought her.

She has wanted an early Mustang since she started driving....not sure where that came from, as I've never been a Mustang guy.
