Doing something wrong is still doing something. It's a learning experience. I know. I'm smart like that.

Tom should know. With wood sometimes you can do something wrong. With a little customization you can make it look right.

More to do than I have time for. It's a little drizzly today. So, will I do this or will I do that. We'll see how the day unfolds. Hopefully I won't hear any phones ringing.

I walked out to my back patio as I do every morning. Schatzie and Snoopy walked out with me. Schatz ran over to the patio door and started aggressively barking backed up by Snoopy. Two dogs I've never seen before must have snuck in under the back fence. They ran toward the exit when they heard the barking. Medium sized Bull mixes so I'll take my commando knife out with me when I go inspecting the fence line. Thanks Schatzie.

Morning guys...Warm and stupid here this morning...even warmer this afternoon 101 predicted.

Funny you say that Tommy, I was just telling someone the other day about how I used to tell my students that you are going to make mistakes, but the sign of a good woodworker is how well you can disguise them.

Well I better get out and get something done, fix a few mistakes and just make it through the day.

I'm not believing teebee has made a woodworking mistake in decades …

Oh yea, as a matter of fact...I've been working on trying tofix a measurement error I made Tuesday...not really an error in my measuring, just that I didn't allow for the overlap...and I realized it right after I cut some 4 1/8" holes in them. I checked and measured and played with options this morning and finally decided to completely remake the part. I could have, probably, hid the mistake, but I wasn't happy. So sometimes hiding the mistake means redoing the piece entirely.

I would have tried that too. I probably would have given him the money back after failing too.
