ANOTHER WARM AND STICKY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, THE CHEROKEES HAVE THE AC TURNED ON "HI".

JOHNNY THE PAINTER IS HERE AND HARD AT WORK (OR AT LEAST AT WORK) ON THE TOMATO. #1 DAUGHTER IS BRINGING THE NEW PUP OVER TODAY. SHE AND THE LITTLE GIRLS ARE QUITE TAKEN WITH HIM. WE'LL HAVE TO SEE WHAT NAME COMES TO MIND FOR HIM.

AT EASE, GURUS, I'LL BE IN THE AREA ALL DAY :-)

Hi all. Got some work done already before it gets too hot. Had to reseat the battery cables on my old tractor and get the batteries charged up, neighbor wants to borrow it later for some bush hogging. (Its a Belarus 250, nice 2 cylinder long stroke diesel, massive torque).

Also figured out how to get the drivers door apart on the '96 and I replaced the window guide - door closes real nice now (no more rattle/clang). Just need to put the door card back on.

Taking the fam out for a dog walk and a social distancing picnic.. a couple spots half an hour away that are usually pretty empty.

Going to spend the afternoon sitting outside and drinking beer- cant wait.

Stay safe everyone

Slept in this morning... not too motivated. Warm and humid this morning. Going to get hot.

I need to go out and apply a a coat of shellac to the fireplace surround so it will come closer to matching the antique mantle.

it is a hot day in July here in Huskerland.... may hit triple digits.... heat advisories out all over.... I will take that advice and work on some stuff in the AC shop.... then a nap in the AC house..... what the hell did they do before AC? I know what they did....they hung wet sheets on the porch and blew fans through them.... that was according to my Grand Ma who lived it..... and they went to the show a lot because it was the only AC place in town back then.....

Have a swell day Guru's...

Not sure weather I should post this. The rain in Spain is mainly over South Florida. I understand now why the red, red robin was bob, bob, bobbin along. Did a pick up and then a bank run for the nursery. Sue cut the grass at the nursery even though I just cut it a few days ago. She's got a vacuum pump on her left foot and a battery pack she has to lug around. I let her know I was none too pleased with her cutting grass. She said she kept the foot raised. Cough, cough, (bullshit). I told her no wonder the damned wound won't heal. She can be a real pain in the ass but that's not anything I didn't know 36 years ago. 36th wedding anniversary coming up in a few weeks.

Morning all.
Don’t kiss me, I’ve been “possibly” exposed, at work.
This past Tuesday I had to work in close proximity to a woman who last night was sent home due to one or more symptoms on the list of item the company nurse has to look for.
Here we go....
I’ll try to give updates.

I finally got my father to get some air conditioning for my parent's house by reminding him that AC was one of the reasons the Navy won the war in the Pacific.

Well, I finished up the fireplace surround...a coat of shellac and two coats of lacquer. Beings our trip to Branson got modified (leaving Monday morning) I might go install that tomorrow.

Got to go to church now....later.

Now that is a creative approach. Soon he'll wonder why he didn't think of that earlier.

I remember the days of sleeping in the attic bedroom with the electric fan blowing on high. Battling to fall asleep so I could escape the oppressive heat. I didn't have air conditioning on a regular basis until I went into the service. It was all down hill from there. Now I can be in A/C everywhere but outdoors.

THE NEW PUP HAS ARRIVED. HE PROMPTLY REVEALED HIS NAME BY SERIAL ESCAPES FROM THE DOG PEN.
HIS NAME IS "TROUBLE":-)

A VERY CALM AND PERSONABLE LITTLE GUY, HE SEEMS VERY CONTENT IN THE HOUSE, MAYBE IT'S THE AC. DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS BACKGROUND IS; HE WAS A DOGCATCHER CATCH. HE DEFINITELY PREFERS TO BE WITH PEOPLE.

FIRST PUPPY WE HAVE HAD IN ABOUT 2O YEARS. OMG!

This evening I took the new corn hole game over to #2s house. We proceeded to play until a thunderstorm came through. Then we sat out on the porch and enjoyed the rain shower. This week, we have received close to 4 inches of rain. Every evening, after dark, the storms would build and drop a nice shower.
