Morning guys... MIA yesterday. GS #1 text me from work Wednesday night, saying the little compressor I sent over with him wouldn't pump up the tire that was flat on his car and could I come help him (he lives over in the 'city'). So Rosie and I gathered stuff up to go see what needed to be done....I figured he must have driven on it low and ruined the tire, so I went with the idea that I was replacing the front two tires. The back tires were replaced at a rime since the fronts and, as expected, the fronts needed replaced. So we pulled the fronts off and one of the rears (it was low) and headed to Wally world. They had several to xhoose from..I chose the least expensive to replace the fronts. The rear had a tiny nail and they fixed it. So back to the car and put them back on. I'll say this, I DID make GS do the work...he's got a lot to learn, but he did do it. Came home and worked in the shop all afternoon.

This morning it is foggy...humids are pretty darn high, and temps are high as well...Supposedly, it is going to change last half of the weekend and next week, highs in the low to mid 80s.

Today, I am smoking 3 racks of ribs. #3 and family are coming for the weekend and will be here for supper. #2 and family will be here as well.

Better get to it. Have a great day.

Good Morning CGs!

A warm one here today. Kids are doing their summer homework books. It was a chore getting them up, having breakfast, and then starting that. Can't wait until the real school year...

Ask Tommy for advice, he quit smoking the day after he turned 65.

Hope everyone has a great day!

EASTERN OKLAHOMA IS NORMALLY THE RAINY SIDE OF THE STATE, AND THIS HAS BEEN AN ABNORMALLY WET SPRING AND SUMMER.
I PREFER THE WEST, BUT THIS IS WHERE I ENDED UP AND I'D RATHER HAVE A HEMORRHOIDECTOMY THAN MOVE AGAIN, HAVING DONE THAT 15 TIMES ALREADY :-(

That's why I was in my last house for 28 years. I hate moving and I moved a number of times with the military so I understand the desire to stay put. We have so much stuff I would not even consider a move unless first we had an auction, second, an estate sale, and third, a yard sale. After that they can send the donation trucks. And when we finally got it all to fit in one U-Haul, then I'd be ready to move again. Hopefully to a place where I wouldn't have any yard work.

you love yard work.....just keep saying that over and over....when I look around here at what a move would result in it makes me want to go back to bed..... 30 years has accumulated a few things in the house and the shop.... it would take a month of everyday work just to put a dent in it.......this from a guy who could get most of what he owned on his Harley at one time in his life...... its hoarding at its finest.... speaking of Harleys I been getting the urge lately..... happens each year around Sturgis time...... one foot in front of the other....I will get through it....

hit the go pedal today Guru's
