… because it isn't happening this year.

Earlier this year, we were invited to be part of a unique NCRS Gallery at Corvettes at Carlisle in honor of Elaine Raisner—the "den mother" of our NCRS chapter who passed suddenly in January. The invite came from Elaine's husband, Tim, and, of course, we accepted.

We were bringing our 2003 50th Anniversary Convertible because Elaine loved that car (despite having a really nice triple black C5 convertible herself). I was beginning to prepare Grace for display when the Gallery was postponed to 2021, mainly because many of the participants were from way out of the area.

Corvette at Carlisle itself is still going on, and we'll be attending on Friday next week. Lance Miller, one of the co-owners of Carlisle Events, decided that they would include Elaine's In Memoriam in this year's event guide, and I enclose it.

She sounds like a neat lady... so sorry she passed. I am sure her husband is really hurting still.

Have a nice time at Carlisle... and keep her in mind. It's where she belongs.

She must have been one of a kind. Those types are few and far between. So sorry for her loss.
