Morning guys...Woke up at 5 to the sound of a gentle rain...Praise the Lord....only problem is, it only amounted to .1 inch, but we'll take what we get.

Electrician is at the job already, I'll go check on things in a little bit.

House is still open, highs of mid 70s again today.

I know what you are saying Gris, my hands and fingers don't want to do things they need to do.

John, yesterday, you mentioned that your house was a Craftsman, does it still have all the Craftsman details inside? I love Craftsman style houses, furniture and details.

The house isn't mine, Tom, it's my parents. Built in 1904 and messed up by various owners over the years until they bought it in late 1974. My parents than embarked on a multi-decade restoration, which only really got going when most of the eight children left the house. As you might guess from our family's size, the house is closest to the Four Square style, but even larger: six bedrooms (more in a pinch), three-and-a-half baths.

The house has big bones (huge fireplace and large ceiling beams), a large and cool porch, and lots of fine detail. It's a great house—the "big finish" to a row of five Craftsman houses on their side of that street.

We own an early 1960s Cape Cod constructed by gypsy felons. What we do have is (much) more garage space …

One of my potbellied pigs is sick and I think dying. She has had patches of skin cancer for years. Won't eat, won't drink so I fear for the worst. She's only about 7 so she's basically middle aged. Hate losing my animals but ... I'm always glad to have had them as companions. Poor baby.

For reference, folks, Tom's pigs are adorable. I feel for him that one is sick.

Sorry to hear about your pig, Tommy.
Beautiful where I’m at but I’m trying to find a quiet spot. Inviting friends was a bad idea.i like to get up and sit on balcony listening to waves in peace and quiet.and I don’t smoke, they do. I don’t like chatty patty crap first thing either. I finally came down to pool area for quiet clean air and peace. And I paid for the condo.
Alas it’s flooding at home though so at least my surroundings are better here.

Daisy is gone. I went out to sit with her. She was breathing heavy. I stroked her and told her 'It's alright Daisy. It's alright." She cried, drew her last breath and died. Poor baby. I will miss her. She was just as sweet as candy. Daisy is the one in the back.

Sorry Tommy.

John, I love the craftsman style....have I said that before? All my furniture that I have been, for myself, is in the craftsman style. I've got aa plan for a new front door for the house that will be a craftsman style.

John - I also love the Craftsman style.

In Dover, DE, near the hospital, is a Craftsman house - from Sears! It was a kit they sold out of their catalog and was shipped via train! Super cool.

Sadly, I checked google maps, and I think the house is gone... that sucks.

I’m sorry you lost your pig Tommy. It’s very hard to lose a pet and companion.
All this talk about a craftsman home, my nephew actually lives in a house in Lexington Kentucky that was a Sears prefab house, brought in on rails and entire neighborhoods built out of these Sears prefab homes. I’m not sure but I think his house is about 100 years old now as well.
Have a great day Gurus!
