Sitaday is probably the wrong thing to do with a bad back. Road trips are a riot. You can drive 4-6 hours and feel fine. Just don't try to get out of the seat. LOL.

I walk a 100 miles a day and am on my feet or bent over and on my knees more than I care to be. (And no, Matt, I'm not servicing men.) I was so stiff (in my knees and back) over the past few months but as usual I just powered through it. Keep moving is what I've always heard, so that's what I do. That's kind of why I don't see the spinal specialists. I'm sick of the exercise treatment. I have an exercise for the spine doctors. Go f~(% a duck. Once I reach the ripe age of 70 I may just go tell the medical community it was nice knowing you. Then I'll just start eating fatty meats, take up smoking and drinking again and after Sue kicks me out of the house I'll go and contract a variety of STD's. When they find me dead beside a dumpster somewhere they can just pick me up an throw me in.

It's 03:46 AM and all is well .......... Mind was over active. 7 weeks since I quit smoking . My sense of smell and taste are returning and I'm not too sure that I like it. LOL It's kind of like when your hearing deteriorates. Not hearing things can be a bonus.

Tommy that's too funny. I was off work for 6 months and was way too active for my age - landscaping/digging/under cars/jumping up and down off the truck/lifting and hauling. Literally everything hurt, I couldnt even get a coffee cup out the cupboard in the mornings without my shoulder (either one) creaking and popping - and then I'd work outside all day again.

Now I have a job again (corporate desk job mainly from home) I'm no longer in pain and I'm looking forward to working on a couple cars this weekend.

Happy long weekend gurus!

Morning guys....I'm up, only because we have to make an hour drive north to watch GS #3 run in a cross country meet. Hopefully be home around noon.

Mid 60s now headed toward the mid to upper 90s.

Not a lot on the agenda for the weekend.

...interesting after 70 life scenario there Tommy.... you need to include some cruise boats in that somewhere....

I have worked thru the pain for a long time but did not find it debilitating only a nuisance... Advil is my friend... the lower back pain is workable its the damn sciatica down the back of both legs that is holding me back....some days I can't even stand up straight..... I had this back in 15 but worked my self out of it and I was only 65 back then.... today I'm a bit further along..... it's icking my wow......

but the floors still need cleaned and I will not let anything keep me from my appointed tasks..... got so much I could do around here I don't want to do any of it..... I could use some inspiration...... anybody got any?

move forward like a herd of turtles Guru's....

Marc, I've had a hard time, all summer, finding Summer Shandy. I did pick up a 12 pack in the 'city' Thursday.

BOOK REPORT: PAY ATTENTION MARCUS---

STILL PLOWING THROUGH KAZAKHSTAN. IT’S OBVIOUS THAT THE BOOK IS A PRODUCT OF THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT ADVERTISING THE NATION. AN ATTRACTIVE WELL DESIGNED BOOK (JOHN WOULD APPROVE) THAT TELLS MORE THAN YOU EVER WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE COUNTRY.

FROM THE END OF THE STONE AGE ON KAZAKHSTAN HAS BEEN A KALEIDOSCOPE OF UNPRONOUNCEABLE NAMES, PROTEAN TRIBES, TRANSITORY KHANS, EMIRS, BEYS, BEGS, KINGDOMS , KHANATES, EMIRATES, AND HORDES OF THE STANDARD HORSE NOMAD PATTERN. THEY LIVED IN YURTS AND FOLLOWED THEIR HERDS AND FLOCKS ACROSS THE STEPPE UNTIL THEIR NATIVE MISGOVERNMENT WAS OVERWHELMED BY CZARIST TYRANNY. THEN THE COMMUNISTS TOOK OVER AND TURNED IT INTO A COMBINATION JUNKYARD/CONCENTRATION CAMP.

IN AGES PAST THE KAZAKHS SUFFERED THE SAME GEOGRAPHIC CURSE AS THE POLES: EVERY INVASION, WEST TO EAST OR EAST TO WEST, CAME RIGHT THROUGH THEIR BACKYARD. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE FABLED “SILK ROAD” DID ALSO, WHICH GAVE THE INVADERS SOMETHING TO STEAL BESIDE HORSES.

I’M GETTING CLOSE TO THE END---:-)
