COLDISH AND LIGHTLY OVERCAST IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THEY SAY IT WILL CLEAR OFF LATER.

DARLING WIFE AND I GOT FLU SHOTS AND WENT FOR BREAKFAST AT IHOP IN MUSKOGEE. MORE CORPORATE KUNG FLU SETUP, NO SALT & PEPPER ON THE TABLE, ETC, AND THE SERVICE WAS RATHER POOR. MAKES ME WONDER IF THE PLACE IS GOING TO MAKE IT.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY FOR A CHANGE---BUT THEN DW HAS NOT BEEN HEARD FROM :-)

Good morning, still raining here, whoever sent it can have it back now I'm done.
Pool repair crew due over tomorrow, so there goes my weekend. Fighting with pool company also over hole in liner that was their fault and repairs, not treated well last couple of years. I work for them also doing some design for wraps here and I always try to do my very best. Will be searching for another company.
Gris, my guy at home is the senior master-ASE at our local dealer, but the service writers just give tickets to whoever. If it's a Corvette or a diesel truck they try to give to him, if it's anything serious. He has most of the same equipment at home so he can work at the house or at any location (travels). He's the "night mekkie" at a few of the shops around here, keeps a full schedule.
I need to get some tires ordered pretty soon and am not in the best spot on my budget at the moment. Also I'm not one to spend $$$ on a tire's name, I look at the specs and compare. I have found these and they seem to be customer rated fairly well, anyone try them?

Morning guys... slept in again. Cool and clear, so easy to do.

Came down to eat breakfast, Rosie had some eggs in the insta-pot on the counter, as I reached over the pot to get a bowl for my cereal, the top blew off scalding my lower arm and the side of my face... and making a mess all over the kitchen. I'm sitting here with cool, damp rags on my arm....at least that helps.

My plans obviously are up in the air at this point....

In my tire search I've stumbled upon one I think better, it's commended for it's wet grip which I'm needing

Well, the scald (after keeping it cool for 30+ minutes in a cool, damp towel and rubbing Aloe Vera on it) has turned out to be very much like a sever sunburn, tender red and itchy.

I finished up the modifications to the cabinets, built a drawer, installed slides and then the drawer....Then installed a slide-out trash bin in the bottom.

Next on the agenda was gluing the door yogether. I waited for Rosie to come back from her volunteer job (playing grandma at the school daycare center) so she could help me. Planning goes a long way in doing a glue-up on something this big and expensive. It went together without a hitch. An hour later (and ten cross tie pins through the tenons) I un-clamp it and begin final sanding and then the stain goes on.

I have used Firestones in the past and last go round went with the Bridgestone Protenza. I've been happy with both. Bridgestone and Firestone are under the same corporate umbrella I believe. My tires always age out before I use them up. They always look almost new, except for the cracking that comes after 5 years.

Had a delivery today to the Key West naval Air Station. They were awarded some grant money and spent it on native plants that we delivered. We were up pretty close to the flight line. Brought back memories of my days at Ramstein Germany with the jets taking off and landing.

VB.... I have a set of BStone Potenza's RF I would make you a great deal on..... I had just bought them when the deal came up with a bud on the other forum who made me a good deal on the 19" and 20" Cup wheels with Michelins included..... they are taking up space in the shop and would fit your car perfectly.... let me know if interested..... probably don't have 1000 miles on them...... Can not get the BStones in the 19 and 20's I am now running..... I better check again with tire rack....

Ya Tee a steam burn is the worst....penetrates more.... get some spray on Aloe and use it....will make the heal up time twice as fast..... Uwoman got me going on it for burns and it works.....
