CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. FALL HAS FELL :-)

GOT A CHECK IN THE MAIL YESTERDAY FROM SOME LAW SUIT SETTLEMENT ABOUT CIVIL SERVICE ANNUAL LEAVE. I DON'T INSPECT THE DENTITION OF DONATED EQUINES, SO I WILL CASH IT TODAY.

WITH THE COOL WEATHER I HAVE HOPES THAT THE YARD MOWING IS OVER FOR THE YEAR.

LOOKS LIKE A PRETTY DAY COMING UP, THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR.

Been distracted for a few weeks, health issues (resolved) with follow ups. My son finally about to pull the trigger on the car and truck resto business. Managed to get some time with Greenwood last night and tightened up/rescrewed/reglued a couple loose body panels and the diffuser. Hopefully won’t sound like something is about to fall off next time I go over a bump. Cooler weather is awesome and good for evening working

I’m glad your health is better Andy.
Weather wise, here in the Buckeye we’re bracing for a horrendous 64* high mixed with low humidity levels that tend to create high levels of comfort and relaxation circumventing the achievement of planned daily goals. I may need to play hooky today......
Hang in there Gurus, we’ll get thru it.

Morning guys.....slept late again. Woke up and it was 32 out there. I heard the furnace come on at least twice. Supposed to be in the mid 70s today.

Went golfing yesterday afternoon, about 1 finished about 5 and hour and a half later it was getting dark...then sun drops behind the mountains pretty quickly. It is clear here, not much smoke in the air, so we can actually see the mountains.

Might walk down to the 'rec center' and do a treadmill or stepper workout....maybe not....

Unlike Marc, I got nothing to do today...might take a nap.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Chilly here today. Started out in the upper 40s and is hovering around 60 now. I had planned on cutting the grass today but overnight rain cancelled those plans. It's nice to get it done one Tuesday because we have Wednesday garbage pick up. Oh well.

Still back and forth with the insurance company. Supposed to hear back tomorrow, I guess. I'm sure it will be more games.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Humid and balmy summerlike weather here, where sweat permeates your shirt faster than a toupee flies in a hurricane. Resolved health issues are always welcome.

Marcus, I just now saw the post about the tires, I've missed a few days - I'm sorry - email me at vetteblondie@gmail.com or text me at 870-926-0270, price and what not. Saving $ right now is top spot. My car takes a 275/35-18 up front and 325/30-19 in the rears. I recall looking at those before but Tire Rack showed them not in my size.
Pool guys came Friday and took up my entire day and then some rebuilding the back lower wall, then he was about to fit new liner and it's ruined. Had a few words for the construction and repair staff, then was told "we will order a new liner". (We just got this liner in 2018 and issues with ground water and we had this fixed once. Then wrinkles they left all winter, then they finally offered the other pump solution they should have installed with new liner. Sinkhole developed and their call was to let it set all year making it worse, tearing the liner, they put a ghetto patch on there and it came loose, 53,000 gallons later, ,huge headache)
Had a little rain here and there but weather broke and we got the Harley out some this weekend, did a window visit at the nursing home, she wanted to see it and needed cokes to 2-for-1 run. She wanted to ride it she said. I wish she could, honestly. I really do. I hate going there as I see her miserable, and others and I see me there one day in the same position. No life quality. Other than that, we stayed to ourselves, I didn't feel good so I literally layed around all weekend save for a trip to Lowes and the nursing home run. Has been very quiet and peaceful around the neighborhood with the next door crew being moved out. I do dread what comes next and pray it's people like the rest of us - quiet empty nesters.
Matt - that car - no words. So sorry
