ON THE SECOND DAY OF OCTOBER TAHLEQUAH IS CLAIMING 39 DEGREES AND IT'S 46 AT THE KITCHEN WINDOW. CALM WIND AND A LIGHT OVERCAST THAT SEEMS TO BE CLEARING. GOING TO BE A CHILLY DAY, 68 THE PREDICTED HIGH.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA, OTHER THAN PICKING UP MY LONG-HANDLED HEDGE TRIMMER FROM THE REPAIR SHOP. THERE ARE LEAVES ALL OVER THE PATIOS AND WALK AGAIN, PROBABLY SHOULD BLOW THEM OFF BEFORE THEY ACCUMULATE.

LIFE IS GOOD.

2 X 20 = 40. That's the way we did it in the old days.

Remember being sent home after school to memorize stuff?

Today is Sonny-boy's 42nd birthday. Both he and I have come a long way in that time. It amazes me sometime of the path I chose to end up where I am. Most of it was when I came to a fork in the road, I took it.

Hey guys....35 this morning mid 70s for a high. Just a carbon copy all week. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Rosie is at the Rec Center and I will head to the golf course a little later...once it warms up a little.

Good morning, all.

We're off this Thursday and Friday because Ivelis is in a "use 'em or lose 'em" situation with her employer.

We're doing a kind of tour of the local gardens and arboretums of note. Last Friday:

http://www.morrisarboretum.org/

Yesterday:

https://www.jenkinsarboretum.org/

Later today:

https://www.chanticleergarden.org/

Tomorrow:

https://longwoodgardens.org/

In addition, we've done some of those fall tasks—prep the ice melt, cycle the DampRid, and get the ornamental pumpkins. I think I'll have a decent picture of the front of the house when the sun hits it later today.

...nice places to take a fall walk Big John.... idyllic...

been cleaning out my work truck today...it was appalling after a season in the dirt and mud and such.... I'm taking a break now but need to get back and finish up the interior.... much work...

I bought those Michelin AS 3+ tires for the Grand Sport and found out the 335 25 ZR20's ZP AS 3+ are not on the market until into November.... nuts..... front ones 285 30 ZR19 ZP AS 3+ are in at the tire shop alreaady. will wait for the rears before putting them on.... can't remember if I already told you this or not..... that's worrisome.....

Anyone running the AS 3's on their Corvettes..... ZP's..... I hope they don't ride to rough..... got non RF's on now but thinking to go back to RF's.......

about 1400 bucks mounted and Road Force balanced....

Well, that is very attractive John. Cute house.

Played golf this afternoon a really nice day for it and played with another 'local' guy. We were pretty equal in our games so that made it a little easier. When I play with someone whose game is way better, or not as good as mine, I tend to not play well. I played bogey golf today...about what I should.

Got back and read a post on FB from my sister, where she was saying their church had come down with C19. She didn't say she had directly been in contact, but didn't say not. The post made me wonder enough that I sent a text message to her asking for more clarification. Almost immediately, she called me to tell me how she has been directly exposed to a test positive. But, so far, hasn't experienced any symptoms. Her philosophy is, Whatever is Gods' will is Gods' will. We had a nice chat for about 40 minutes.

Ok, food is here, later guys.
