SUNNY, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. ANOTHER PRETTY DAY IN THE OFFING.

CHANNEL 8 STRIKES AGAIN:

13-year-old killed after crashing truck in Pittsburg County

DID THE TRUCK OWNER GET PISSED?

THE USUAL FRENZY OF ACTIVITY PLANNED FOR TODAY :-) THAT IS TO SAY, NONE.

YESTERDAY'S HIGHLIGHT: DARLING WIFE MADE A CHOCOLATE CAKE TO TAKE TO CHURCH FOR A FUNERAL AND I GOT TO LICK THE ICING BOWL.

Sue asked me last night what my plans were for today. I really don't plan till I get up and get going. Then the day always seems to fall into place. Unless the phone rings. Yup. Even on a Sunday I can get an unexpected call.

dang near cold out there this morning....warming up next week with temps into the 80's. the farmers rejoice as the corn harvest goes into full swing....

today I will tear out old carpet in the basement. what a joy that will be..... then will have to paint the walls and then we can put down the new floor.... to bad you guys live so far away....

56 got 14 mpg yesterday running into HD and back. Ran at 2370 rpm mostly on cruise control at 76 to 77 mph. There was some wind and the car was carrying a load coming back....probably do 15 or better at 65 mph.....

may be time for video church....gotta go.....

Good Morning CGs!

Taking the kids to the arcade today. RR#2 couldn't have a bday party so this is his treat. Well spend about and hour and a half there. They enjoy it, that's all that matters.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys...Up early, loaded the Caddy up and headed east. 28 degrees at the top of Wolf Creek pass, 82 when we got back home.....

Filled the Caddy up, she made 32mpg coming home.I gave her a bath and put her away. Then did the trimming around while Rosie mowed. #2 called and said they were still having problems with their plumbing...she called and was asking while we were in Colorado about what the problem could be and I gave them some things to do and look at. So as soon as we finished up the mowing, I went over to help SIL figure out what the problem was. I think we got it figured out, but couldn't do the complete fix, as we needed a new kitchen faucet. He'll finish things up tomorrow.

More concrete work tomorrow for me.
