The $1000 headlights. If you look into them you can see into the future.

Good Morning CGs!

Went outside to cut the grass this morning and the lawnmower wouldn't start. Had to tear it down and tinker with a few things. It's back up and running and the lawn duties are done for the week.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, things went really well this morning. With three other guys there to help, we got the old window out, and the new walls put up, sheathed off, the Tyvek on and three of the five new windows in, all before lunchtime. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance. this afternoon, we'll get the other two windows in and then work on down toward the last window on thee east side, remove the old one and install the new one.

windows I have some you can do when you're finished there lol
Was due to get one put in out in the pool house to finish up, but rain due all weekend here. Figures. It's absolutely gorgeous here today, perfect beach/pool day - except I'm at work.
2nd round of physical therapy on my (surgical 3 years ago) hip. Have spinal torsion and sprained sacroilliac ligament they said. Not sure how. She handed me a (lengthy) list of pre-scheduled visits.
Nothing much here today, have a great day y'all

Matt, since you want to pass on filing an insurance claim on the driveway, why don't you call the company that did it and see if they can patch it for a price you can afford? Maybe they have a half day on one job and can squeeze you in helping to pay the guys for a full day. Sometimes they have left over material and can do a patch with that. A patch might look better than how it is. Asphalt will blend in pretty well over time. Give them the old down trodden raising my kids, no money working in law enforcement, it would make my wife so happy, discount sales pitch. You never know.

Tommy they already came by. $2700 to remove all and repour. A patch would look like crap, we both agreed.
