CLEAR, COLDISH, AND CALM IN THE NATIONS AT THE MOMENT, SUPPOSED TO GET WINDY LATER. THE WEATHER WIZARDS ARE PREDICTING A DRIPPY WEEK TO COME.

NOTHING HANGING FIRE TODAY AND THE FT GIBSON BBQ & CHILI FEST WILL BE GOING ON. I'LL MAKE A SWEEP THRU THE FLEA MARKET, MAYBE TAKE DARLING WIFE TO "SMOKE THE FORT". DON'T KNOW WHO CAME UP WITH THAT TAG, SOUNDS LIKE A POT PARTY :-0

DIDN'T WAKE UP TILL 0730 THIS MORNING, MOST UNUSUAL FOR ME.
THE CAT, WHO WAITS AT THE DOOR FOR ME TO LET HER IN, DID NOT APPROVE OF THE DELAY. SHE HAS HER OWN CAT DOOR, BUT WITH TYPICAL FELINE PERVERSITY, WANTS SOMEBODY TO LET HER IN RATHER THAN DEMEAN HERSELF BY USING IT.

On the subject of semi retirement...... my wife is 11 years younger than me and she says I can't quit till she does.... so there is that..... plus..... I really think I would like a C8....and there is that..... and opportunity only knocks occasionally and Ag is one of the few businesses that being of a certain age and having years of experience actually counts for something.... so when they came knocking my wife answered the door and had the deal done before I even knew they were there....

Research and new product development along with sales and working with growers to improve their yields.... all right down my alley...... onward and upwards Guru's..... now I gotta go mow the lawn for hopefully the last time this year.....

C8 has been calling us. Sue asked me the other day how much one was. The hood is so much shorter. I rolled down my window so we could listen to the exhaust. Out of courtesy we should ask her dad if he wants to sell his 2014 Corvette. Only about 4800 miles on it. He doesn't drive it much. Retail on his right now is mid 40's for condition, mileage and options. Sticker was high 70's and he paid 10% less. Around 72K for it. Thinking of thinning the fleet to 2. An 87 Porsche 911 Convertible and a late model Corvette. All others I could potentially part with if I found the right buyers. Of course I would keep the Suburban as a daily driver.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Got the front grass cut today. Mower wouldn't start. Been burning oil and I think the motor is shot. I cleaned the plug and oiled the cylinder. Then it started. Not sure if it was the plug or the extra compression. I'll try a new plug first. Otherwise it's a new mower in the spring.

Forced some slave labor out of the kids and got the house cleaned up. Wife will be happy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

We had some music posts and other stuff that garnered a lot of early posting action back in the olden days. We had a few post experiments as well. BillH, Matt and I were all building up post counts.

Yup, good times back then. Lots of laughs. Don't forget Chris. I still keep up with him on Facebook.

Hey guys...busy day, but got absolutely nothing done. A trip to the 'city' for groceries/supplies.

Was a nice day, upper 70s....but the bottom drops out overnight. low 40s for a high tomorrow.
