CLEAR, CALM, AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, MAYBE SOME FROST IN THE LOW LANDS, HIGH TO BE IN THE LOW 60'S.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY.

102 YEARS AGO WWI ENDED AND THE "MODERN" ERA BEGAN, A PIVOTAL POINT IN WESTERN CIVILIZATION.

Beautiful day here although cold. Clouds starting to roll in but no rain was earlier projected.
Nothing on tap that I'm aware of at the office other than the horrid airstream customer and that huge issue still persisting. I think we'll end up in court. She's mad that she can see the 'uneven texture' of her crappy paint and dents beneath the wrap. She also upset that she can see rivets and bold heads. Seriously? Are people that stupid? Of course you can see those, they stick up and a decal isn't gonna make em not stick up. duh. anyway she's filed a BBB complaint for that very thing and I spent all day yesterday gathering proof against her with photos and compiled a court summary of a sort. In all my 30 years I've never in my life encountered someone like this. Typical "want something for nothing" liberal and thinks they can use any excuse to get it. Sorry for the rant but I've had three anxiety attacks over this heffer.
I do need to call our local Ombudsman today to update him on me being inside the nursing home. He's not been allowed in yet which I do think at this point is breaking the law. Hope today is slow but it does make for a long day.

Wow, good luck with that Heffer. I’ve met people just like them. Just like any other turd, they will pass.

Thanks to all of you veterans.
I graduated in ‘73. Just in time for the draft to stop pulling people.
Later in the ‘70’s, I considered the military, but wasn’t smart enough to think for myself, and took advice from people that hated it.
Upon graduating college, I attempted OCS, but was refused. They didn’t say why.
For better or worse, things work out.
Have a Great one Gurus.

She's a huge turd, difficult pass lol
And yes, thank you to all veterans, my father (RIP) and my partner.
I wanted Air Force after high school, fighter jet and schooling for surgery. Made it through all the bs to be qualified and kept it under the radar. I was 17, mom refused to sign. I got a scholarship and went to college, then dropped out to get married and he turned into a methhead, I taught myself what I do now and got a job. Life sometimes has unexpected bad things for us. To this day I'm pissed off at her for not signing. Wasn't meant to be I suppose but I feel that I needed the discipline and to GTFO out of this area.

I too graduated in 73. Got a draft card number but they cancelled the draft so the point was moot. I signed up for the volunteer force in November of 73 and went active in Jan 74. It could have gone either way then but withdrawel was the order of the day. I had orders to Thailand to support the long range bombing mission but they cancelled those orders in May of 74 and I volunteered for Germany as my first choice. I was lucky to get it and it was off to Ramstein A.B. for 3 and a half fun filled years. I loved being stationed in Central Europe. Traveled and lived in several small villages off base. It was more than a job . It was an adventure. Loved it. Did 5 years and might have done more but my first wife wanted me to get out.

.....I graduated in 68.... rather a pivotal year in the late 60's.... I had planned to go to college out of high school and I did....got a 2s deferment and stayed in school... was in a large draft board area and never did get called up...when the Lottery came about I pulled a very high number 346 I think....so went 1A and took a draft physical and was declared draft ready and then it all shut down in Nam..... got out of college and never looked back......

Thank you all who did serve and of course to the ones who gave their all......

OH YEAH, GERMANY WAS FUN, ESPECIALLY FOR A HISTORY BUFF. WE LIVED ON THE ECONOMY, WERE SORT OF COMMUNITY PETS. DARLING WIFE TRAVELED, THE WOMEN TRAVELED AND SPENT MONEY WHILE THEIR MEN WERE AT TRAINING AREAS. WE WERE THE STOPPER IN THE FULDA GAP AND DIDN'T GET MUCH TIME OFF.

Hey guys, I too graduated in '73....my number was like 52, if they had continued the draft, I would have been drafted (more than likely). I did go to school, but not sure if deferments were on the radar then. Didn't matter anyway. Rosie and I got married in 75, and went to work in the oil-field.

I have the utmost respect for those who served.

Letty, I thought you were done with that gal. what a PITA. A quick trip over to the 'city' this morning to pick up more of that plywood I got Sunday for another project. Came home and worked on that one and a few other things.

Not quite as nice of a day, a bit cooler. Supposed to be in the 70 by Saturday.

That's why I signed up. It was death or prison that awaited me ...... or Join the Air Force and GTFO of Dodge. The service taught me one thing though. Wherever you go, there you are. You can take the boy out of Boston but you can never take Boston out of the boy. ;)
