Quote by a forest ranger at Yosemite National Park on why it is hard to design the perfect garbage bin to keep bears from breaking into it: “There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.”

Whole heartedly agree GRIS.

Up and at em. Stuff to do. I'm behind again thanks to tropical storms and other non-associated reasons. Procrastination being a major contributing factor. I am in fact a pro. Crastination is hardly worth the effort.

In todays self help seminar ......

How do you deal with procrastination?

Forgive yourself for procrastinating in the past. ...
Commit to the task. ...
Promise yourself a reward. ...
Ask someone to check up on you. ...
Act as you go. ...
Rephrase your internal dialog. ...
Minimize distractions . ...
Aim to "eat an elephant beetle" first thing, every day!

I aim to 'eat an elephant beetle' first thing, every day; meaning conquering the hardest, least desirable task first thing in the morning so I feel a sense of achievement first up and I do not carry the heaviness, inner criticism and negative mind chatter around with me all day.

I'll have to work on that.

Hope darling wife gets a possible solution to what ails her.

Speaking of wives ........

Sue often says I don't communicate. Just the other day I was explaining my point and she said, "Alright, shut up already." Now I'm confused. Communicate or shut up. Which one? Or both? 🙂

Up early and back late....... that's Ag Life..... not like Salt Life.....of which I am very fond of......

I see the Philly Mob is in on the fix for Biden over Trump... they were paid 10 bucks a vote for Biden and they ran off 300,000 of them in 3 days and then left them in an alley where they were picked up at 3 in the morning the night of the election...... no really.... I heard it on Right Wing Radio so you know its true.......

Hey guys, another day another dollar....spent. Working on one of the two cabinets today...drawer slides came in, so finished that portion and got a commitment from the client on what to do for the top. So started on that.

It was a gorgeous day here today.

Covid is running rampant here in our little community. I believe some restrictions are headed our way. Masks in all public areas, or fines are due... starts Wednesday.

My friend, who got it, is not quite back to 'normal' but was released to go back to work. Rosie's sister, back in central Kansas, got it and will be free to go back to work tomorrow....both described their experiences as extremely tired, hacking cough and a fever for a few days...luckily neither had to be hospitalized. School has been hit pretty hard and I think they may be going hybrid.

More tomorrow.....
