CLOUDY, COLD, AND BREEZY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WE GOT A HALF INCH MORE RAIN.

FIRST MORNING WITH NEW COFFEE MAKER, TASTES A LITTLE DIFFERENT. WE WENT TO WALLY WORLD AND SPENT AN EXTRAVAGANT $26 FOR ALMOST THE SAME MR COFFEE AS WE HAD FOR SO LONG, THEN GRABBED SOME CHINESE TAKEOUT FOR SUPPER. OUR FAVORITE CHINK PLACE HAS STILL NOT OPENED FOR DINING IN. PROBLEM WITH TAKEOUT IS IT'S STARTING TO GET COLD TIME WE GET HOME.

WITH THE NATIONAL SOCIALISTS BACK IN POWER THE QUESTION OF THE DAY IS: WILL JANE FONDA BE NAMED SECRETARY OF DEFENSE?

and all through the house..... the cupboards and fridges are packed with food ready for the skilled hands to prepare the feast...... very nice!

well after 70 years of hard driving and millions of miles I am headed in to get some chassis work done this morning. I found a shop that specializes in this kind of repairs and like an older Corvette some parts need worked on to have it handle like it always did....... you know tight in the curves and flat out on the straights....... If all goes well I will be back late afternoon ready to have the family wait on me hand and foot....... catch you on the flip flop Guru's.......

Morning guys...Still not 100%. No headache, still have smell and taste, developing a fever blister on my upper lip and just tired. I feel better now that I am up and moving around. Still laying low and avoiding people.

Prayers sent your way, Marc.

Good Morning CGs!

More rain and wetness this morning. Dark and dreary which I'm not a fan of.

The women-folk are in the kitchen cooking up some stuff for tomorrow.

Marcus, good luck with everything. Keep us posted on the results.

TB hope you feel better quick.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon - beautiful sunny day h ere but cooler. Rained cats and dogs last night so puddles everywhere, water in the road in some places on my way in, all the drainage ditches were beyond full.
Hope you feel better soon Tee and prayers sent your way Marcus.
Slow day at work, and email isn't working so that's hampered what little I did plan to do. Got some food prep done last night, will do some more tonight then only have to put a couple things in the oven tomorrow. Gang due in between 12-1.
Hope everyone has a great day

That price is eye-opening (bad pun alert!) — that used to be 65-inch money. We have an LG 60-inch LED 4K that we're quite happy with. It looks like we've finally made it to the point where people can accidently buy a TV that's too big.

LG's OLED televisions are widely thought to be the best in the business, but they can go way up the food chain:

Got no room for a TV either one of those sizes. I've got room for a very specific 55". I've got an opening in the cabinetry I built that is 48 1/2" wide x 33" tall. I have found 2 55" TVs the should fit (without modification to the cabinetry) 48.4" It's a matter of time before I can acquire one.

Feeling a little better this afternoon, but still tired.

Nebraska may be not the most interesting vacation spot in the country but all those rich farmers have spent a lot of money to have the best medical facilities in the world......

And to think just 50 years ago you were lucky to have a color tv.

I remember in 1964 my Mom and Dad got a summer job teaching Peace Corps trainees in Gainesville Florida that were going to Brazil... my folks had spent about 5 years in Brazil as Missionaries out on what was then the frontier.... Spent all summer down there in one of the dorms and this was before AC......we had fans......

One of the things my Dad splurged on when we got back to Kansas was a console Motorola Quasar Color TV.....it had a square tube...not round like the RCA's had.... it cost a $1,000 dollars in 1964 money.... that is the equivalent of $8 large today.... are you kidding me?

It was all worth it when we saw our first NBC Peacock in living color...... all the neighbors would come over and want to watch Bonanza....Mom and Dad let them in had folding chairs set up........56 years ago...... pretty amazing how far its come........

Good evening gang.
Speedy recovery Marcus.
Hope you feel better soon Tee.

We have had a heck of a week so far.
My lovely wife had to ask what was next last week when we had a nail in the right rear tire of the vette with no road hazard. Won't be buying tires at the dealer any more. Road hazard wasn't offered there. Nail is right at the shoulder of the tire where the tread and sidewall is. New tire is on the horizon. Then her hard drive crashed on her laptop.
Our cat of 18yrs wasn't feeling to well on Monday. We went to the vet tonight and ended up putting her down. It was one of the hardest things I have had to do. Needless to say the Mrs. is quite upset. Things seem to happen in 3's.

We'll be making the trip to the folks house tomorrow. We'll lay her to rest in the pet cemetery at my folks place.

Looking forward to some good turkey.

On some good news we'll be closing on the new house soon. Maybe around the 1st or 2nd of December. Been looking forward to this day for a while now. Living in the fifth wheel is getting old.

Let's all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Sucks that you have buy a new tire, Mike. And that you had to put the pet down. Must be the week for HDD going down, I've had three brought to me where I've replaced. in the last couple weeks.
