THE HEAT WAVE IS OVER, 33 ON THE FRONT PORCH AND OVERCAST. THE CHEROKEES ARE RESIGNED TO MORE WINTER, BUT NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT.

MIKE, HOW BAD WAS THE DEER STRIKE?

AND HOW IS ROSIE, TEE?

RAIN IS OVER FOR THE MOMENT, GUESS I'LL ROTATE CARS AND MAKE A BIRD SEED RUN TO MUSKOGEE. I CAN DO A COUPLE OF OTHER ERRANDS ON THE WAY.

ANXIOUS TO SEE GREAT-GRANDSON, BUT I THINK WE WILL WAIT TILL THE SECOND KUNG FLU SHOT IS DONE BEFORE WE GO UP THERE.

Morning guys....Not just chilly this morning, it's freaking cold, 15 now and only headed to low 20s and snow later.

Rosie is coming along real well, Gris. Her arm is gaining strength and her knee is not as painful. She's lucky it wasn't worse.

More work on the vanity today. My lumber truck is scheduled to come this afternoon and I have b-ball games to work this evening.....full day. I hope yours is a good one.

Holy cow Mike!
I’m certainly happy you guys are ok, but how many times did you hit that deer? Again, glad you’re all ok!
Cold and rainy here in the Buckeye. I actually got 8+ hours last night and boy do I feel better. Sleeping in the cold house after working in a cold factory was getting very old, very quickly.
Stay safe you guys!

Ouch!

Had a deep cleaning on half of my mouth. Next week the other half. I was telling the dental hygienist "Teeth don't lie." What you do and don't do with a brush and floss shows up in the cleaning. Ka-ching. My dental experience looks like it will ring in at around 5k. Floss is much cheaper. ;)

...it only cost like 200 bucks to get a good tooth cleaning up here...... fangs are extra..... me thinks you should fly into Omaha and I will take you to my dentist who works out of the basement of his home he shares wid 20 of his reletives.... very good rates for dental work.... cleaning the utensils cost a bit more but still a good deal.....

I didn't see the picture of your car Mike. Holy cow that's a bunch of damage...really surprised that the air bag didn't deploy.

Dang Mike that poor car. Looks like it hurts.
Glad to hear Rosie is coming along, Tee.
Happy birthday to your mother Marcus, best wishes for many more!
Beautiful and sunny here today, been sneaking outside off and on for some sunshine breaks. Slow day here but kept occupied. Spent yesterday afernoon/evening in the gym then on the grill cooking yellowfin tuna files, deer burgers and a giant tomahawk steak for us with hickory. Turned out really well and we have some food cooked up for a couple days, makes my life easier.
Hug your loved ones and be sure to tell them how you feel as you never know if that's your last chance. My cousin's FIL passed couple days ago, my ex-FIL passed last night and my boss' FIL passed last night as well. The latter was not Covid related but the other two (one for sure) was I think.
Hope everybody has a great day

Side note: I have found myself with a nice C5 hardtop (gloss black) if anyone knows of anyone... I need to sell it. It doesn't fit my car and I need a windshield.
