7 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH @ 0800, WITH A DUSTING OF SNOW ON THE GROUND. MORE SNOW COMING, THEY SAY. NOT A CHEERFUL PROSPECT, I SAY.

WE HAD FOUR BLUE BIRDS ON THE WEST PATIO ALL HUDDLED UP TOGETHER AS IF KEEPING WARM. NEVER SAW BIRDS DO THAT. UNFORTUNATELY THE CAT SAW THEM ALSO. ONE FEMALE WAS RESCUED ONE MALE KIA.

WE'RE HUNKERING DOWN, ENDEAVORING TO PERSEVERE. I DID MANAGE TO GET DW A BOX OF CHOCOLATES, THE VERY LAST ONE IN THE STORE :-)

DID I MENTION I HATE FEBRUARY?

you were wise to bring out the Chocolates.... you might have been out on the porch wid da cat and poor little birdies...

I in my thoughtfulness managed to get a nice card and a gift card to her favorite store.... I am good to go for another year.....

If it can get worse it usually will..... below 0 temps with snow and now with the addition of wind..... it is blowing to the south right out of the Arctic circle with a destination and stop over in Oklahoma....then on to Texass....... just letting you know....

Keep the faith my brothers and sisters...spring is just around the corner...

Good Afternoon CGs!

Flowers for the wife did the trick today. We had some sushi takeout for lunch, as well.

Cold here, waiting for spring like everyone else.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sue's older sister died this morning giving Valentine's Day 2021 a special meaning. Sue and I are the designated family members to deal with the upcoming series of events. Her sister lived a couple of hundred miles away so we have to deal with the transportation, secure a plot and casket, assist with the funeral arrangements, pick up her car and her worldly possessions and distribute as needed and whatever else is required. We know how to do this. It's one step at a time. Sonny boy has been recruited to oversee the home front and of course, the business will be closed. In times like these everything else gets put to the side. Sue was in close contact with her sister often talking together multiple times a day. Death of family members always hits her little hard. That's why I'm here. To support her in whatever she needs.

Good evening gang.
Sorry for your loss Tommy.
I helped cook dinner tonight. We had lobster tails and steak.
So I'm good for another year too.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Tommy and prayers for you on that and the upcoming stuff you'll be having to deal with .
Very cold here, topped out at 15 today with a windchill of -1. That (-) there to me is irrelevant, as my body can't differentiate at that temps. Pool is freezing up , hell everything is freezing up. This is not normal for us. We already have 2" of ice and now starting tonight, we will get about 8" of snow, then Wednesday we'll get it all over again. This is turning us all upside down here. We're not made for it - at all.
We did get out and to go "town" and do a couple of things today, then went back later. Left coming home just in time as it had already started.
had a great V-day, Arron did well for me and I hoped what I got him was suitable, he needs work pants and can't ever find any tall enough. I managed to find a 38" in length and they go up to 40" so he has a new source for britches. It also helps me as I don't have to keep fixing the old ones.
Y'all stay warm and safe

Hey guys,

Tommy, so sorry for your loss. As time moves forward we all are facing more and more of that. Prayers sent your way.

Got up early, as this was the day our Knights of Columbus group had our beirock making/sale. We had a good turnout and had as many as 28 members/wives/children there working. Appears we made around 220 dozen. Rosie was one of 6 wives that showed up, that's what our Valentines Day was...I guess I did heat up a beirock for her for supper...what a quality and romantic husband I am.

Gris, your start to the day was higher than we made it. It was -3 when we headed to school to make the beirocks and only made it up to 2 for a high and looking for a low of -15 tonight. The one good thing, weather-wise, if there is one, is the big snow and blow never reached the full potential they were predicting. Only got about 2" of the white crap (not complaining) and not much wind with it.
