CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS, RAINED SOME LAST NIGHT. LOOKS LIKE A GLOOMY DAY COMING UP, ANOTHER TWO NAPPER :-|

SLEPT IN TILL 0700, UNUSUAL FOR ME. TIME TO FEED THE DOG AND THE TRANSIENT BARN CATS.

DOGS ARE AS MUCH CREATURES OF HABIT AS OLD PEOPLE; EVERY MORNING AS I WALK TO THE BARN TROUBLE MAKES A HIGH SPEED RECON SWEEP THRU THE WOODS BEHIND THE HOUSE CHECKING FOR LURKING MONSTERS THEN MEETS ME AT THE DOOR TO COME IN FOR A GNAW ON HIS RAWHIDE CHEWY. NO MONSTERS HAVE BEEN FOUND SO FAR.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE LIFE GOOD---

Good Morning CGs!

The sun is hiding today and there's a light mist of rain coming down. Good, get rid of the salt so I can drive my Corvette.

After a month of strict dieting the wife and I went out to lunch yesterday. Just the two of us and it was very refreshing to be out and to be able to dine in at a restaurant. Had some onion rings and a few beers. The rest was chicken and broccoli so I didn't go too crazy. But a nice cheat meal every once in a while is a good escape. I'll probably keep this up a little while longer.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hmmmm, once again I have nothing to report. Working too much I guess. Against my better judgment I’m getting my first installment of vaccine tomorrow morning. All reports say the 2nd is the worse of the two. If I’m not back in a day or two, you guys’ll figure it out.🤡
I asked Harassment-Resources (HR) if difficult reactions to the vaccine could be considered excused absence. They consider it a voluntary choice and missed work an un-excused absence. Great.
Have a great Sunday Gurus!

Hey guys... up pretty early and over to the 'city' to take #1 GS and fiance a couple of chairs we had here in the basement.....and haul away their old crappy torn up couch. GS and I disassembled it and loaded it into the pickup and I'll haul it to the dump tomorrow.

Got home and met a guy who bought my old front door. a little more mad money for the stash.

Sunny here, but breezy and cool. 60s though for the rest of the week.

Bob, I don't remember did you have the virus? I remember you were quarantined. Thinking maybe you did. Everything I heard/read says if you did, the first one is the one that give the most trouble, if not it's the second one. My reaction to the first one wasn't all that bad. Low grade head and body aches the next day...Rosie just ran a low grade fever for about an hour. I say get it and move on.

I haven't been to harbor freight in quite a while. Don't really need much from there at this point. Recently they changed their coupon policy and got rid of the 20% coupons. They just started reintroducing them but you have to use the inside track club to get 20% - regular customers get 10%. Luckily my buddy has a membership so we stopped over there this morning and got a new floor jack. My old one wouldn't fit under the new Corvette. This new one is nice and has an additional 3/4" clearance over the old one. (And a photo comparing it to the old jack)

Good evening gang.
The day started wit some sunshine then was gloomy and cloudy all day. Had to work on the tractor today. Blew a hydraulic hose yesterday. Replaced that one today to have another one blow. So tomorrow another run to O'reillys to get a couple more hoses made. They are old so some preventative measures will go along way. Not much else going on. Gad the temps are above freezing.
