Went to the casino to confirm a prize. A 7" Amazon Fire tablet for free. One for each of us. Sue has taken up a new game. Pai Gow poker. She managed to pull $400 off the table and lost a little of it back to the slots. I was down $150 and came in with a $350 bonus round. Came home $140 ahead. Sue manage to take home $410. $550 ahead for both of us for the day so next trip is on their dime. We have a bunch of hotel comp nights as well. Might have to go stay a couple of nights for the fun of it. They have really nice rooms and comfy beds. They get around $250 a night so that's a nice little comp. You just have to manage your play time or hit early and play on their money. That's always the objective.

Well, I got the 1st shot this morning. No soreness yet at 3 hours in. Do feel a little sleepy, but probably from getting up early.
The home front is AOK so far, and the biggest problem I detect today is figuring out a thermostat housing for the Vette. This one’s been a real brain teaser.
Now, on to the work “20.”

Good evenin - nothing going on here all weekend, just ugly and rainy. Some say we got 3". We didn't need it after all that snow, too much water, ground will be soggy for a while. Marc gad to see you got your mom moved and prayers that all works out okay for her and she makes a comeback. This is very rough on all the elderly in facilities. Even with me being in every week here, my cousin is still very depressed and sees no need to continue. It bothers me but I do understand.
Got out today and went to the gym for a double round of stuff, wore out. Sleep will feel good later, that's bout it for here, rain stopped today and sun came out just in time for sunset.
Gris happy birthday to darling wife.
Y'all have a good one

hey guys, early start then work in the shop. Now I'm headed to school to run clock for first round sub-state basketball.

Nice sunny and, relatively, warm day. Tomorrow up earlier and off to the 'city' for an eye appointment.

Got to go.

thanks VB but I don't think there is recovery in the cards this time around.... she is pretty much out of it right now...not eating and not drinking much....I will be headed back down to be with her as the transitions begin..... we knew it was coming someday but she has proved a worthy opponent to the grim reaper in the past but the age is finally going to catch up to her....

I will keep you posted.....

Sorry to hear of you and your mother's troubles, Marcus.

Spread 38 25 gallon buckets of mulch all by my lonesome today. Actually I've spread all the mulch by myself. It beats the crap out of me but I always feel increased stamina after the job is done. I can put 16 buckets in the back of the S-10. I've done 133 buckets all together. I think I'm about 1/3rd done. The bonus is it cuts back on the weeds big time and gives the yard a clean look.
