The mulch spreading extravaganza continues. If I do three S-10 truckloads a day (48 buckets) I should be done this time next week. I don't work all day at it. I do other chores as well. I do around 4 hours spreading a day. Now if I was Matt, I'd be done already. The heat today is supposed to hit a near record of close to 90. Not a fan of it being that hot this early in the year. Summers around South Florida are long and hot enough already. But truthfully I'll take + temps all day over - temps.

Good Morning CGs!

Tommy, if you were me you'd still be complaining that the wife told you to spread mulch and you'd be yelling at the kids to go outside and grab a shovel.

Got the Corvette off the rollers and out from under the cover. Battery was dead. I had it on a tender. Either the tender went bad or there was a draw. Checked for a draw last night but couldn't find one. You know how electrical gremlins can be.

Sunny and warm today. Won't be driving the Corvette yet, still too much powderized salt on the roads.

Hope everyone has a great day!

THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE CHEROKEES AND THE REST OF US TOO. COOL WITH A LITTLE BREEZE.

GOT OVER TO TAHLEQUAH EARLY FOR A HAIRCUT, FIRST IN LINE AS I LIKE. I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE SO I GOT A SHAMPOO ALSO. I DON'T LIKE TO DO THAT IF THERE ARE OTHERS WAITING.

THAT COMPLETES TODAY'S AGENDA :-)

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS!

Hey guys, Chilly start here...18, but has warmed to the low 60s already. Chance for showers tomorrow.

That's a lot of mulch, Tommy. I turned the sprinkler system on yesterday and one section wasn't spraying very much so I walked around the side of the house to find water gushing out of the ground. That means I GET to do my favorite thing in life (NOT). Thinking I'll dig it out this afternoon to see what the problem is.

Been out in the shop working on a couple cabinets. Got some others ordered last night, and another complete kitchen (a small one) in the works.

Gris, had to laugh at the picture you posted...Yesterday when I had my eye appointment I noticed that my Dr was wearing two masks...not sure if he is one of those high at risk or not, but he was certainly taking precautions.

Got to get back at it. I've got a church coucil meeting at 5:30, leading Stations of the Cross at 6 and a Knights meeting at 7:30.....

Two masks here? You do good to get folks to wear one.
Beautiful day here, sunny and warm. Tomorrow it's supposed to be summer again with sunny and 70. I desperately want to stay home just for no other reason than to sit outside and partake. However, I just finished a car design and am about to start on another box truck. Boss is swamped now, plus he has a transit van he just started, and one other truck in line.
Found out last night one of my best friends passed suddenly. He's not one to let anyone know if there's anything wrong and we knew he had heart issues. I was just out there a few days ago for some chili on the wood stove out in the shop. I'm glad I was able to go and see him that one last time. He's been there for me through thick and thin, he'd give you his last shirt. Worked for the ambulance co here as a paramedic, always taking care of others. Supposedly he was getting ready for work late yesterday afternoon, didn' tshow so they came searching. Climbed throug the window and found him in the bathroom, looks like he'd just showered. My heart breaks for not only me, but his family and my friend who is his long time girlfriend. He was home alone at the time.
Prayers for his family if y'all don't mind.

I’m also sorry for the loss of your friend Letty. It’s always an awful thing, especially when it’s unexpected.
Prayers have been sent up.

Mulch, huh Tommy? Not my favorite task, but still way ahead of plumbing.
Take it easy in the heat down there.
It’s late here, so I won’t keep you guys, and gal, up any later than I already have.
G’night all.
