My perfect temperature right now outside at 08:00 AM. Low 70's. Of course that will change as the day goes on. The mulch we use comes from the stalls of a local horse race track. It's rather ripe when you spread it but comes with free fertilizer. Sue gets a 40 ft. truckload of the stuff for $100 and a $20 tip to the driver. We have been using it for many years now. I lay it down about 3 inches thick. Hopefully will last into the Fall or later. We have quite a few beds here around the house that are mulched because of the landscaping and fruit trees. It really keeps the weeds down if it's done right. One S-10 load away from finishing the front yard. I have some paperwork to do and the grass needs to be cut. Everyday is a full day.
Had to replace the touchscreen radio in the Suburban. It was changing stations and screens at random. Nothing that a G note couldn't take care of. Part alone was $723 from the dealer. I wanted all the warranties and installation covered so I paid the price. I found them online for $488 plus shipping but if it was wrong they don't take back electronics, restocking fees and return shipping and so on so I paid the extra deuce for piece of mind. No hassles. It's not plug and play either. It needs to be programed to the vehicle. Reregistered with XM under the new unit number. It's all good now. I bought a screensaver for it. Now I have to install it. And ... The beat goes on ....

AND IN THE NEWS: GERM WARFARE---BIDEN RELEASES 100+ WETBACKS WITH KUNG FLU IN TEXAS.
THAT’LL TEACH THOSE NEANDERTHAL TEXANS TO IMPEDE THE SOCIALIST AGENDA.

Thank you all for the kind thoughs and prayers for my friend - he will truly be missed by many and served a life of helping others as a local paramedic. He had so many plans Funeral is set for Saturday 9am . I hate funerals and often won't go to one except the visitation, I will attend his.
I seem to fail to learn this continued lesson but - if you have someone get on your mind more heavily than normal, or that 'gut feeling' or intuition about something - reach out to that person. Might be your last chance. I had this feeling to send him a message the other day, then got sidetracked and then the next day forgot, then remembered again - by then I had got the call he'd passed. Keep in touch with friends even if it's a text or call but in person is best. Keep your distance if you have to but that's how you exchange feelings and true thoughts.
Beautiful day here, I'm bout to leave the office and go home for the rest of the day, I will be back in here in the morning for a make up half day, have to come to town anyway for a hiarcut at 1 tomorrow so it'll work out fine.
Y'all have a good one

Hey guys, Up early and off to church then off to Rosie's dr appt. Her knee is healing but still has to wear the brace for two more weeks...then she can start taking it off and begin bending it a little...up to 45* and begin not wearing it at night.

Came home and started working in the shop.

It was cool at the start and then warmed up into the low 60s, then the clouds moved in and it has rained a bit...hopefully more on the way.

Oh Tommy, horse manure.....out here they use the scrapings from the feed yards and dairies and apply it to fields...we have tons (literally) of cow manure produced within the county.
