Energy cycle interruptus. Well I won't be able to blame it on lack of rest now. Took an hour nap yesterday and later went to bed at 09:30. Slept in till 07:45 this morning. Hopefully today I'll find some gumption.

Good morning, all.

Sorry to be out of communication for the last few weeks—my service-connected back problems have reared their (ugly) head. Here's the most important sentence:

"There are advanced degenerative changes at the L4-L5 disc space with disc space narrowing and spurring."

—wonderful.

Sorry to hear that John. Backs were notoriously slow in adapting to evolution. Something to do with mass and gravity I think. Hopefully an acceptable solution will present itself in the not too distant future.

I just now figured that out. Need more coffee
Dreary this morning, warm and humid, they tell us high winds, hail and a possible tornado is on the way. Shit we just got done with an arctic snowstorm and a foot of snow. We've seen the extreme of all seasons in three weeks here. Annnnndddd Arron in his top fasion rode the bike this morning. I saw the truck and was >this< close to taking it.
have to find some kids in a residential pool on a slide having fun in pretty scenery for the pool company's next three trucks other than that, nothing much here today.
John, sorry to hear of your back issues, prayers for a solution for you soon

Marcus also has back issues. I think he bought a motorcycle to take the edge off.

Sigh—this is definitely making me think I should sell the 1985 in favor of more comfortable cars.

Thanks for the good wishes, Letty and Tom.

Do you have sport seats in yours? If not perhaps grab a '96 sport seat and replace? Or maybe even a newer model? Even with my SI pain and hip issues, my '12 seat is always comfortable to me. Hate to see anyone get rid of their Vette

Hey guys, another day like the last several....up early, errands to run, work in the shop.

Sorry to hear of your back issues, John. Tommy and Marc can surely relate to those...although, I think Marc has pretty much had his fixed.

Well, more of the same tomorrow for me.

I’m also sorry to learn of your back pain John. I’ve had mine as well, complete with stitches.
I sure hope you get some quality relief from it soon.
And the same for everyone else here. Pain just isn’t any fun.

Finally got my t-stat housing fitment figgered out for the Vett.
That took a while and not only a lot of butt-scratching’, but also the generosity of a co worker that welded the aluminum for me on each of the trial and error attempts. Tried to offer a gift card as thanks and he flat refused it. I’m not accustomed to that kind of generosity...
Have a good evening Gurus! Good night! Sleep tight! Don’t let Joe Biden bite!
