Hello. Nice start to the day with sunshine. High in the low 80's. 78 would be better. Bank run and car washing along with some light mechanical maintenance on the days task list. Sue is gone for the day to a garden club in the Keys. |

GLOOMY IN THE NATIONS, OVERCAST, COOL, WAITING FOR THE RAIN.NOT MUCH RAIN HERE YESTERDAY, BUT IT RAINED OFF AND ON ALL THE WAY TO TULSA AND BACK.
NO PLACE TO GO TODAY, NOTHING TO DO, NO DR APPOINTMENTS TILL NEXT WEEK :-) A NORMAL DAY, EXCEPT I'VE FORGOT WHAT NORMAL IS. THERE IS A SMALL GUNSHOW THIS WEEKEND IN TULSA. Good morning guys....Slept in this morning...no church until noon. It is, or has been raining a little here. At least the hard surfaces are damp. Supposed to be like this for the next several days...that's OK with mewe need moisture badly.
I'm headed out to the shop to work on some things. |

THE GREAT "GLOBAL WARMING" FREEZE HAS REALLY PLAYED HELL WITH THE VEGETATION AROUND HERE. NOT THAT IT WAS SO COLD, BUT THAT IT STAYED COLD FOR SO LONG. WE SHALL SEE WHAT MAKES A COME-BACK. IT COULD REALLY LOOK DIFFERENT IF IT DOES NOT. THE BULB-TYPE PLANTS SEEM OK AND THE LITTLE PERIWINKLE IS TRYING TO BLOOM. EVEN THE HONEYSUCKLE LOOKS DEAD. LOOKS TO ME LIKE THE RUSSIANS WERE RIGHT. |

sleeping in whats that? Just got home and will have to work Saturday.....at least till noon.... praying for rain so the work lets up a bit...... chances are good this weekend but none of the stuff the western part of the State is going to get please..... deep ass snow...
