ANOTHER DISMAL DAY IN THE NATIONS, 50 DEGREES, HALF INCH OF RAIN IN THE GAUGE, STILL DRIPPING. EXPLETIVE DELETED!

GOT AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE EYE DOC AT 1030HR, AND I'LL TRY AGAIN TO GET RID OF SOME USED BOOKS IN MUSKOGEE.

IT'S ANOTHER TWO NAP DAY, BUT I MAY ONLY HAVE TIME FOR ONE.
I'LL HAVE TO MAKE UP FOR IT LATER---

I'd love a nap today. It's cooler here and rained quite a bit during the night. Severe storms expected again this afternoon, hoping it misses us.
Have a trailer to work on today hoping to get at least a side proof, but rather proof it all. Got deposit yesterday so hit the ground running on that.
In other news, lost and found:

Morning guys...MIA yesterday. It was not a nice day, weather-wise. Needed the moisture, but it was cold, dreary, and wet most of the day. Today is starting out the same. Supposed to clear up later.

I need to get going.

Took care of some loose end tasks that needed my attention. Drove up to the main branch of my credit union to close my account only to see a note on the door saying they are temporarily closed sending me back to a Co-op office half the distance home. I went to the main branch because that's where I first opened my account. Stopped into my Porsche mechanic's shop to get a date to bring in my 83 with an ignition problem. And then the 79, 928 with a fuel pump and sloppy shifter problem. Share the wealth. My first task this morning I dropped off some dry cleaning items then went to the dentist's office and updated my dental insurance and made three appointments. Back home cooking some chicken breast for the dogs. They eat good and costs less than canned dog food. Soon I'll clean up some downed palm fronds from around the yard. A rolling stone gathers no moss.

when you get done cleaning there I have a list for you at my house.
I used to cook for arron's dogs, one was sick with cancer and wouldn't eat so I made her food so she would eat. I used brown rice, some of her regular kibble, chicken thighs, livers, low sodium beef broth, etc all mixed. She loved that stuff. Cheaper than canned food I'd get it all on sale. Dog that's left is stuck on pupperoni sticks aka stinky sticks. they smell awful but she's like a crackhead about them

GOT AN OK FROM THE EYE DOC BUT NO JOY ON THE BOOKS.

LOOKS LIKE SPRING HAS REALLY SPRUNG; THE REDBUD TREES ARE IN FULL BLOOM AND I SAW A YELLOW GOLDFINCH.
NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON.

Good thing you're retired, Tommy, or you wouldn't have time for all of that

For any one keeping track I'm still on the diet. It's going well. Haven't been on a scale once since Feb 1st. I'd estimate about 20 lbs, though.

Shopping around for a new top for the Vette. Think I found a good vendor. Update tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Well, it did clear off and warm a bit this afternoon. Worked in the shop most of the day. Was able to open the overhead door this afternoon.

Took an hour out of the afternoon, to go give blood....been a year since I last gave...almost to the day.
