Today my dad would have been 93 had he not died in 1968. King Edward IV was also born on this date. If he was still alive he would be 579.

On the existence of God. I had a very strange thought last night when pondering the fear of death and the possibility of an afterlife. You know, just one of those passing questions you think about when you close your eyes to go to sleep. Here was my conclusion. If you believe in God then God exists, even if only in your mind. Thinking of all the trials and tribulations in my life and the times I called on God for guidance or consolation, He was there for me. He calmed me and gave me hope. He helped me to move forward. So if God did not exist how was this possible? Even if it were mind games and delusion, God helped me many times throughout my life. Belief in God is personal, I know. Just thought I'd toss this out there.

We now return you to your regular program.

Morning guys.... Crispy cool this morning. Not supposed to warm up a whole lot today, upper 50s.

We are supposed to get the key to the building where the wedding and all the other things (except the rehearsal dinner) will take place, so we can start decorating/setting up. I'm guessing I won't get a lot done the next several days except for that.

Tommy, I trust that God exists as well. And, like you, I feel that he has guided me in my life.

Good Morning CGs!

A little cooler with some rain today. Not the 80* and sun I was enjoying yesterday. A side note of that is a convertible Corvette is one of the best pleasures in life

Wife did some gardening yesterday and I moved some landscaping bricks and rock. Seems fair...lol. But things are looking better. Always something to do.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Muggy here and rain has started, the monsoon will be here sometime during the night. Upt o 4" is expected. Trying to pick up where I left off at work, and tackle some new PIA things that just came in - 42 windows for a school and a lady with way too many expectations for a tiny $1500 budget on a trailer she spent 10 large on. Both are kind folks but way lacking in the comprehension department.
I also belive in God, and all that He can do. I often feel he's abaondoned me and disconnected. At other times, I feel that he has used me and my previous situations to help another. No denying it was Him.

THUNDER, LIGHTNING, AND RAIN IN THE NATIONS, LIGHTS WERE OUT FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF.

IF THE RAIN EVER STOPS I'LL FEED THE DOG AND THE CLANDESTINE BARN CATS. DARLING WIFE STILL DOING BETTER, MAY HAVE TURNED THE CORNER. I'M KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED.

WE HAVE RUN OUT OF SUGAR, SO THAT'S A PRIORITY, OTHERWISE A TWO NAP DAY.

SAM HAS TABLES AT A SMALL GUNSHOW THIS WEEKEND; I'LL DO IT UNLESS DW TAKES A TURN FOR THE WORSE.
