Good morning, all.

Walking a little more each day—trying to get the stamina back. Beautiful days, but a little chilly.

Our electrician is nearing completion on the whole house backup generator installation today. It's the first Cummins product we have owned, and I have high hopes.

HI JOHN, GLAD YOU'RE DOING WELL!

STILL COLDISH THIS MORNING, BUT THE SUN IS SHINING :-) SUNSHINE COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SHORTCOMINGS.

OUR LACKLUSTER TAX ACCOUNTANT IS MAKING A HOUSE CALL TODAY AND DARLING WIFE HAS PT. I MAY WORK IN SOME YARD & BARN WORK WHEN IT WARMS UP A LITTLE.

I SEE WHERE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL HAS DECLARED THE GREATEST NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT TO BE WHITE PEOPLE. SIMPLY MARVELOUS---

Good morning.

John, does the generator run on diesel? I'm assuming that because it's a Cummins.

Brought our visitors up to the Hard Rock Casino last night. They wanted to go. I won a hard earned $600 over the course of the evening. Sue lost $600 over the same time period. The casino fund came out even. Our guests lost big but in the waning moments Sue's cousin hit for $850 bring him back from his losses. He was giving his wife betting money through the night as well. Everyone left happy.

This one is natural gas—they have branched out. I have worked with many enterprise-class Cummins diesel backup generators over the years.

John, it’s good to know you’re making progress.
And Gris, I hope the wife keeps improving as well.
Tommy, $600 up/down, too much for me. I’ve got a little in some crypto right now and I’m having trouble with that roller coaster. I could only imagine my stress level in a casino.
Finally, John, I didn’t realize Cummins was in that market. We’ve thought of getting one but I don’t know who to trust around here, and I’m not sure what our needs would be.

You guys have a great day today.
Oh, and Gris, that’s a scary thought from the AG. I guess it’s true. White males are the only group in America that can be discriminated against with impunity.

Bob, thank you for the good wishes.

I did a ridiculous amount of research, and Cummins kept coming up at or near the top. Our needs are this:

  • everything (and I mean everything) is electric (HVAC, hot water, stove, dryer)
  • by far our most significant outage cause is all the beautiful old-growth trees in the area—a couple of weeks ago, one tree down because of high winds took out the power for us and about 1,100 other customers
  • within the general outage cause, our most challenging risk would be if we were part of a relatively small outage because smaller outages get lower priority—after a bad storm, we could be out for several days

We settled on a 20 kW generator, along with an automatic transfer switch.

Good Afternoon CGs!

John, good to see you back.

Got the new top installed on the Corvette. Looks new Window tint went on yesterday. Had an expensive new head unit ordered but when it came in from the distributor it was missing pieces. Had to send it back. Stereos all come from china so they are in high demand with low stock. Hopefully I'll find something soon.

So Tommy, what ever happened to pickles from the class of 69?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Which head unit did you purchase?

Sadly, he died a few years back.

I got the top of the line pioneer w4500nex. I'll be going with a Sony media player instead. Much less money and does most of the same stuff.

Got it and thanks. I always wonder what folks are getting on their C5s, though the time may be past for that for me—we're thinking of getting the 2003 judged …
