1996 LT-1 can't pass smog certification, 2 "H" codes on the dash and 40 codes on my Zurich ZR 13 reader??? Any reputable C-4 techs in the 91763??

40 codes seems excessive. What are they? Could be an issue with the code reader. Was the battery dead recently? I'd clear the codes and see what comes back.

40 codes would imply a bad PCM... if it was true.

Reset and retest... and if you can, list the codes. The codes themselves are the value, not a vague "I have codes, what do they mean" comment.

The 1-40 codes are listed on my reader, most conflict with another, high voltage vs low voltage, high temp vs low temp etc. I suspected a bad PCM or a bad ground? Long story longer I took it to a reputable mechanic in Claremont, Ca for smog certification, they recommended new injectors I said OK. About 4 days and $$$$ they can't figure it out and suggest I throw more parts at it to fix and still no smog certification.

well.... stop spending money.

1. test the alternator
2. what injectors did you get?
3. check grounds - the battery ground to chassis will corrode
4. check battery terminals
5. test the battery

120k... check grounds around the battery.

These cannot be "real" codes, if so, the engine would run like absolute garbage.
