OUR TANK IS NOT THAT BIG; I'M UNEASY WITH THE IDEA OF RUNNING GENERATOR AND HEAT BOTH OFF PROPANE.

The casino was kind to me again last night and for the week I did great. $600 ahead on each of two nights we went last week. As any gambler does I will place emphasis on my wins and remain more low key on my losses. lol The gambling fund is good for about 4 losing sessions at the casino but gamblers are eternal optimists. The next spin could be a big winner. I don't gamble for income. I play for entertainment. Sometime that entertainment can be expensive.

I have been known on occasion to take a 20 dollar bill and change it into quarters and hit the slots till its all gone.... one day I came back to the campsite wid 67 dollars in winnings..... what a great day that was.... That is up in Deadwood.... now though they have legalized casino's in Nebraska as long as they have a horse track to go along with it.

Sooo many horse tracks being built by farmers....

Mow day....but can't because of the rain.... too bad...

more later on I'm sure.....

Good Afternoon CGs!

Beautiful day here weatherwise. No Corvette in the garage and it makes me want to go get the TA from my mom's house. Maybe this week.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon gang.
I'm still kicking. Checking in. It turned out to be a nice day so far after they predicted rain. Bought a new to me 54" zero turn on Monday. Mowed the lawn Wed and Thurs. Today was the hard work. Walking around doing the weed eating. I forgot how much work that is. I did enjoy it though. I enjoy being a home owner again. I brought home my push mower and riding mower from my parents. Now the next project is to get them running. Change oil, new belts for the rider, and new carburetor for the push mower. Spent almost $20 on a new carburetor, for that price it isn't worth messig with the old one.

Later gang.

The weed eating was taking as much time or more than the mowing at our place so I hired a kid to do that and use the push mower where needed... now all I am is an equipment operator as I sit on the Toro and do the easy work... nice to see you on the channel Capt....

Hey guys, Up early and out to the shop to work on counter tops, until #3 GS was able to come help me move cabinets to the job site. Got almost all the cabinets in....having to wait for the electrician to add an outlet for the now built -in dishwasher to install the last cabinet and counter top.

turned out to be a gorgeous day here, mid 70s, partly cloudy and light breezes, too bad I had to spend most of it inside.

Mike, what ever happened to the Corvette? Did they fix it?

captmike. That's a pretty good swath at 54" I know what you mean about weed eating. That's why I only do it around once a month. I do a lot around here except when Sue brings a couple of guys in to do some weeding. That takes a load off my back, literally.

Put a new starter on the boat motor today. Man, what a difference. It zips the engine into a quick start. Took about a leisurely hour.
