Good morning, all.

After much rain last night (almost two inches), it's a beautiful early summer morning in the Philadelphia area.

My physical therapy folks gave me more leg stretches yesterday evening to try and solve my post-op thigh and knee issues. The stretches are definitely doing … something.

Morning guys.... hot yesterday, hotter today. 97 yesterday and low 100s today. I've got a few small projects I'm working on until I can go out, finally, and install the rest of the cabinets I built months ago to finish up that job.

GS is glad I'm back, and is back to doing some work. He's a good student and anxious to learn.

Later folks.

good morning - very beautiful sunny day here this morning, humidity on the low side which was nice for coffee outside before work. Have a quad cab utility bed truck coming from Tennessee in a couple days so I'll have that to work on today. Hopefully nothing else, that's enough.
Arron talking like they might try to do our patio roof this weekend, if so I may catch a ride to Mississippi with a friend of mine, she's going to see her parents and attend a class reunion. Always fun with them country folk.

Made a delivery up to Miami Beach. Always a fun ride that tests your driving ability. Especially when you have to cross four lanes from right to left to make an exit almost immediately after you get on the highway. Ride home was OK. I was looking over the hood of a new Rolls Royce as I watched a homeless guy washing himself down on the sidewalk while doing yoga. Big city life. You can have it.

HISTORY:

YESTERDAY MARKED THE DEATH OF THE LAST IN A LONG LINE OF FIGHTING BISHOPS. 14 JUNE 1864 LEONIDAS POLK, LIEUTENANT GENERAL CSA, EPISCOPAL BISHOP OF LOUISIANA WAS SHOT THRU THE CHEST BY A 3" PARROT RIFLE WHILE OBSERVING THE ENEMY FROM ATOP PINE MT, GA.

HE WAS A BETTER BISHOP THAN A GENERAL, BUT HIS TROOPS THOUGHT THE WORLD OF HIM.

THERE WILL BE A QUIZ LATER :-)

Good Afternoon CGs!

Went to drive the Corvette yesterday afternoon and the battery was dead as a doornail. I had previously done a draw test and didn't find anything. Tested the battery itself and it was bad. I was able to get that warrantied out today. Still made it to a car show with RR#2 after stealing the battery out of the trans am. Tonight another car show with RR#1. Nice weather, should be a nice time.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Well, it’s a nice warm day here. A mere 97 right now. Humidity is hovering around 35%. Didn’t get everything done today that I was planning, but the hot temperatures had something to do with that. Grandson left about 4:30 PM as he was playing basketball tonight in the town south of us and had to leave.

Tomorrow it is supposed to be over 100° and windy, oh boy here comes the blast furnace. I’m sitting on the deck with the pellet grill fired up and cooking some hamburgers.

Too bad about the bad battery Matt. I hope you get the roof done Letty and you get a little time away while they do it. John, is the healing going how long as they are expecting, or is it lagging behind? I sure hope you get better soon.
