Good Morning CGs!

Did manage to tinker on the trans am again. Got the string all set up on jack stands like I saw demonstrated on the internet. Got the toe adjusted and it's much better. I'll call it 97% good. Of course being a little too much of a perfectionist means I'll take it in to get aligned anyway.

As far as the continued beer discussion from yesterday...I'll have a couple and then stop. I don't like the feeling at the time of having too many (or the feeling the next morning). As I've gotten older I've pretty much given up on hard liquor altogether. Just doesn't suit me anymore.

I need to get the grass cut this weekend and should stop by to see mom. Not sure what else the wife had planned for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

HAZY, 75/89, A STICKY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, MITIGATED BY A USEFUL BREEZE.

SINCE ALCOHOL SEEMS TO BE A CURRENT SUBJECT, I'LL CHIME IN. IT IS, IMHO, THE WORLD'S VERY BEST SOCIAL LUBRICANT. I LOVE BEER BUT MORE THAN TWO WILL GIVE ME A MIGRAINE CLASS HEADACHE, SOMETHING ABOUT FERMENTATION BYPRODUCTS. WINE IS THE SAME, BUT DISTILLED DRINK IS NO PROBLEM. SO I PRETTY MUCH STICK TO BOURBON ON THE ROCKS.

I HAVE NEVER QUIT DRINKING, NOR DO I EVER INTEND TO; I HAVE, HOWEVER, QUIT SMOKING---SEVERAL TIMES, IN FACT :-)

AND IN THE NEWS:
White House press secretary Jen Psaki assured reporters Friday that anyone who purchases art from President Joe Biden's son Hunter will remain anonymous to all parties to avoid the appearance of influence peddling.

Morning guys...slept in a bit. Cool this morning, but humid. Cold front moved through last night bringing strong north winds and some rain...and of course higher humids. Going to be a bit cooler today because of the cold front, only in thee mid 80s, 20 degrees cooler than yesterday.

Not much on the agenda for today. Rosie mowed yesterday after we got home from my sisters place, so I'll go out and trim this morning. My neighbors surgery went well yesterday, my GS will be overto mow his lawn today, I'll probably trim there as well.

Church this afternoon, and I am reading. That's about it from the breadbasket of the country.

In other news, the 1985 has been submitted to Bring a Trailer. We'll see if they accept it.

Yep time for someone else to enjoy what you have enjoyed so much John....good luck wid da sale......

Getting the Featherlite toy hauler ready for a trip to the northlands. We will be carrying the earthly remains of my mom and our Stepdude Arlin to a double ceremony up in Montana. They both wanted to be placed there for as long as the grass shall grow and the rivers flow....

We will be taking up the 56 Cheby as the official duty car to carry them to their resting place. Making sure all the trailer functions work such as AC and heat and water..... Keep on Truckin Guru's.....
