Well yesterday was absolutely perfect, light breezes, and low 80s. Today we are headed back to more normal temps, low 90s.

I've got things in the shop to do. Got to get to it.

HI Y'ALL, IT'S A PRETTY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, SUNNY, CALM, 66 DEGREES AT 0820 BUT HUMIDITY IS 100% :-0. IT WAS FOGGY WHEN I GOT UP.

DARLING WIFE HAS PT AT 0930. THIS PROVOKED A STORM OF PROTEST, BEING LONG BEFORE HER PREFERRED HOUR OF EMERGENCE.
LIFE IS HARSH---

MY DRIVEWAY DRAINAGE SCHEME SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED, NOT SURE HOW MUCH RUN-OFF THERE WAS FROM THE 2 1/2" RAIN. IT MAY HAVE BEEN SPREAD OVER TIME AND SOAKED IN.

AND IN THE NEWS:

Edging toward edging in our rain prone tropical South Florida. But first some trimming and weeding must be done. All this rain makes the weeds grow like ...... weeds. The grass usually needs cutting every 5-days but I refuse to cut anymore than once a week so it's usually thick by the time I break out the lawnmower.

Made dinner last night. Rotini covered in a tomato based sauce with venison sausage and meatballs covered in a layer of shredded cheese. Came out big bowl good.

TOMMY THAT DOES SOUND YUMMY!

I LET THE WEEDS GET HIGH SO IT'S EASIER TO MOW---AT AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I TELL DW.

GOT THE CARS ROTATED AND EVERYTHING BACK IN PROPER ORDER. THERE'S A BIG WASP NEST UNDER THE EVES ABOVE THE SIDE SHED WHERE I KEEP ONE OF THE CARS. THEY HAVE NOT MOLESTED ME, SO I RETURN THE FAVOR. I DO HAVE THE WASP SPRAY HANDY; YOU LEAVE ME ALONE, I LEAVE YOU ALONE :-)

Hemmings has an auction site where you can set a reserve. The offerings seem to sell above average by buyers who are looking for that type vehicle. Just a thought.

Corvettes seem to go for lower prices upon further inspection.

Hemmings was my next avenue if BaT didn't accept the car.

BaT will allow a reserve, but I didn't set one—and I think that's probably why they accepted the car. At this point, I just want the 1985 to go to a good home.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Tinkered with the Corvette for a while yesterday. Came up with basically nothing. Ran a battery test and it came back good. Disconnected the terminals and did another test and it was still good but lower volts, CCA reserve, and life expectancy. So now I have to assume it's just the older battery I swapped in there will be on its way out. I guess that's good and it's nothing major so far.

Bob - yes the thermal imager is a great diagnostic tool that I picked up in my tool quest. You can get a nice flir for a reasonable price or a used Snap-on off ebay around $400.

Raining now and I need to cut the grass before they come fertilize tomorrow. Great.

Hope everyone had a great day!
