Sue went up to Sebring Fl helping a friend move some of her stuff up there. 3 hour ride north. I stayed home to hold down the fort. 8 days and I'll be off to Seattle to go on an Alaskan cruise. It will be a refreshing change. High 60's high and mid 50's low. Might be a little rainy. 3rd cruise there for us and our favorite itinery. Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau with a long pause in Glacier Bay over the course of a week. Lots to do between now and then.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Another hot one here. Washed the daily yesterday so of course it rained in the afternoon. Never would have guessed it from looking at the sky. Oh well, it's still cleaner than it was.

Still haven't gotten around to installing the new radio in the Corvette. It's a pretty involved process, I guess I need to get started.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm baaaack.....from 10 days up in big sky and the Black Hills.... took the 56 up in the Featherlite and camped in Spearfish SD....then took the 56 up to Montana with the earthly remains of both my Mom and Grandpa Arlin.... put them to rest in their native soil which is what they wanted. Had a good service for them.

While staying at the motel up there we met a group of Corvette folks coming up from Spearfish and going on to Yellowstone and points west. One guy had a C8 and I asked if he had to wait very long to get it....turns out it was Glen Johnson the chairman of the board of directors for the Corvette museum.... he smiled and said they got him one fairly quickly.... I'm thinking... I bet.... He loves it of course... he said they have new Z06's coming down the line for their test builds when he left. He says they will be on sale before we have been told. Hell he should know right? Maybe......

They loved the 56 and that we were driving it around like a normal car..... across the street where we were staying was 8 Tesla Charging stations..... I'm like ... really? up here in the middle of nowhere..... then a bit later we saw a Tesla heading out across the big empty.... no doubt with no fear of running out of juice...

back to work tomorrow.... not looking forward to it.... more later.....
