Letty and Tommy, don’t you wish giving A-holes a proper punch in the snoot was part of customer service?
Many years ago I was silly enough to attempt a career in sales. In one position I had, I was told stories of my immediate predecessor who was a retired 30-year Marine Sergeant. As told to me by the guys at one customer’s location, the foreman told the ex marine to F- off and turned to walk away. The good Sergeant grabbed him, spun him around, pinning him against a workbench, shouting, “Don’t you ever turn your back on me!”
The story was confirmed by my superiors.
While not part of any successful sales pitch, I’m certain many salespersons have wished they could dole out similar treatment to jerk customers.

The leg is coming along well. I’m using a walker and getting around the house pretty well. The therapist is also happy with my progress, although I’m having trouble getting the swelling to go down. All in time I s’pose.
That’s all I have for today. Happy Friday Gurus!

Good morning, all.

Sounds like good news on your progress, Bob. Mobility is a positive.

GOOD GOING, BOB!

STILL SUMMER HERE, 78/83%. SAW TWO RABBITS IN THE EAST THIS MORNING, A PORTENT OF RABBITS TO COME :-)

DRIVING DARLING WIFE TO TAHLEQUAH THIS MORNING FOR PT, HALF HOUR THERE, HALF HOUR BACK, HOUR PT, THERE GOES THE MORNING.

WILL SET UP FOR A LITTLE GUNSHOW IN TULSA THIS AFTERNOON, WILL BE ANOTHER SOCIAL OCCASION, I SUSPECT. DEBATING WHETHER TO DRIVE THE TOMATO, I DON'T LIKE TO LEAVE IT SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT--- I DID CHECK OUT THE AC YESTERDAY, IT'S WORKING WELL. THE CONVERTIBLE HAS THE BEST AC OF THE THREE CARS.

THE NATIONAL SOCIALISTS SAY THEY PLAN TO LIMIT MIGRATION.
BY MAKING LIFE IN THE US AS MISERABLE AS IN CENTRAL AMERICA, APPARENTLY.

Another busy, sweaty day. I replied to one of Sue's clients by email on a complaint he had. Told hime we would not be able to address it till August 12th. He was not happy. I repied to his reply and after Sue read my response she said my reply was wrong. Sounds about right. lol This client is a PITAs PITA.

Good Evening CGs!

Bob, glad you're getting around a little better.

Tommy, you should know better by now.

Picked up another used tool lot today. A guy I bought quite a bit from in the past. He sent me pictures and price and I agreed. He stopped by today and dropped it off. Lots of work but worth it in the end.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys, made it to KC. It was hot when we left and hot when we got here. Only a little over 3 hours.

Rosie is helping one of the GD sew a dress, me, I’ll be chilling out in the house.

Bob, my knee has never gone back completely as it was before. Always a little puffy, don’t fret it though it is going to be better than it was, overall.
