GOT A COUPLE OF ERRANDS TO RUN, GOT THE TOP DOWN ON THE TOMATO, MAY BE THE ONLY TIME I CAN DRIVE IT THIS WEEK.

GOT WORD #3 GRAND SON AND LA MEXICANA HAVE SPLIT. DON'T KNOW WHY; I LIKED HER AND THEY HAD BEEN GOING TOGETHER QUITE A WHILE. LIFE IS FULL OF CHANGES---

Picked up the 91 Corvette and dropped off the 90 Corvette from the shop. A/C ducts not switching on the 91. I have a headache now. Brake work, fuel pump, headlight actuators and relay, all repaired and operational on the 91. The car is running good except for the A/C duct thing. The 90 is getting a speed sensor and new headlight actuators and relay. That one should be good when it comes home except it needs a new pair of shoes. Weather/age cracks. I hate that.

good afternoon - been quite busy at the office this morning, very beautiful out today, would rather be home. I need to get us a vaca condo booked asap at the Redneck Riviera before they're all gone.
Something about A/C door things on Vettes. Every single one of my door actuators are out. BF not pleased as he's busy enough and hasn't had time to do them. He did one, then afte we figured out the rest needed it so it all has to come apart again.
Thanks to wally world, we have a new redneck toy. Arron went there last night to get dog treats and $400 later came home with a 'portable spa'. I'm not into spending thousands for a real one, would love one made into the pool but that's like 20 grand , so he saw this one.
it has color changing lights, air jet things and such, we'll just put it up under the patio. video attached.

Hey guys, had a full post ready to go and "poof" it disappeared.......

I'll try again... Up normal time and ran some errands around town. Came home and the front struts for the pickup had been delivered and were sitting there next to the garage, so I decided to install them.

The ones I ordered included shocks and springs and the springs are supposed to raise the front of the pickup to level it out from a 'nose down' attitude.

I watched several YouTube vids on replacing these units and picked up a few tips. So I started on the passenger side and within a few minutes I had the old unit out. The new unit, however, wasn't as cooperative and I fought it for at least an hour. Finally I had to remove the sway bar end link entirely, to get the A arms down far enough to get the bottom of the shock into position to bolt it down. the problem was the 2" raise spring.

Well, once I got that figured out, the driver side went off and back on within about 20 minutes. All the vids I watched only had you loosen the sway bar links, but with the longer spring travel, I needed that extra play, I guess. Anyway, I've got an appointment to have the front aligned Friday...and without a doubt, the front sits higher than it did before...by about 2"

Letty, that looks like a neat spa. Tommy, you need to drive those cars more, sitting isn't so good on those. Gris, they might get back together.

Got a dinner tonight to attend at the 'Senior Center", better go get cleaned up.
