WINDY, OVERCAST, 38 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH. THEY SAY IT WILL CLEAR OFF LATER. GOT A LITTLE RAIN LAST NIGHT, JUST ENOUGH TO SETTLE THE DUST.

TOOK THE TRUCK TO THE TIRE SHOP, THEY RESET THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM. WE'LL SEE HOW LONG THAT FIX LASTS---THE PRICE WAS RIGHT THO: FREE. FT GIBSON TIRE AND WHEEL, GOOD PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. I LIKE LOCAL :-)

WE WILL HEAD OUT TO OKMULGEE AFTER WHILE, BEARING PIES, PECAN AND APPLE. BIG DAUGHTER'S KIDS WILL BE THEERE EXCEPT FOR #1 GRANDSON, THE WARRIOR PRINCESS, AND YOGI, WHO ARE IN TEXAS AT HER PARENTS.

THE LOONY LEFT HAS DECLARED THANKSGIVING DAY RACIEST. IT IS A STRICTLY AMERICAN HOLIDAY AND THEY HATE AMERICA.
MAY THEIR HEMORRHOIDS HANG TO THEIR KNEES :-|

A friendly gathering of people is racist? Sharing food and gifts hateful? Going to celebrate with Jewish family members today lest we be deemed anti-Semitic. No doubt politics will surface in conversation. At least it remains civil. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Good Morning CGs!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I am not a big dessert eater but I'll take a slice of that pecan pie, Gris.

I'm off today but the wife is working. This year is a very small gathering, just us and my in-laws at their house. I have to make the green bean casserole later to bring over (if you're not a Midwesterner you might have to look that up).

I filled up the Vette and got a wash the other day. I need to change the oil but driving season is pretty much over. No salt and snow yet but cold pavement isn't good with summer tires.

I've been itching for a other car to add to the collection. Specifically an 89-93 5.0 convertible LX mustang. I don't know exactly what the wife thinks about that but I know it's not positive. I found one in Illinois but it's about 3.5 hours away. In my head I've already thought of $4-5k in changes I would need to make. Yeah.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving!
It’s nice to wake up in the morning instead of still being awake after work. Haven’t done this since I went back from my knee surgery.
It’ll be low key today. Daughter is off with her bf, the son isn’t feeling too well, so it’s just going to be me and her. Oddly enough, I’m kind of looking forward to it.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

hoping you all have the best of Thanksgivings.... Baby Lila is gracing us with her presence here this year.... and she is a big hit of course.... Grandpa is not getting much time to hold her due to the line of folks waiting their turn....

The newest of Granddaughters is up in the Seattle area but she is so very small yet.... Grandma is headed that way tomorrow.....

Green bean casserole is a staple of our TG table and has been for as long as I can remember Matt..... My son is in making it now.....

Been sharing Thanksgiving wid you guys and gals for 12 years now and enjoy knowing you all...... have a blessed day...

Morning guys....it still is morning here in Kansas. Started off VERY chilly, 16 on the thermometer on the back porch, but is sunny and it feels decent out there. 39 now at 11:30am.

We got #2 coming over and all three boys and #1 GSs' wife. Should be here pretty soon. I did the turkey and Rosie most of the other stuff yesterday, so today has been relatively low-key so far.

I hope and pray that, all of you, have a wonderful, restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving day.

Sue is making the green bean casserole, corn bread and giblet gravy. Plus we are bringing two delicious desserts. Carot cake and fruit tarts.

Wishing everybody the happiest of days for the holiday season.

Good afternoon, and happy thanksgiving! Sounds like everybody is blessed so far today and me and mine wish nothing but more blessings to all of you. With Oneta being still sick I opted to take a few things and sit with her during lunch, she needs help to eat and she gets annoyed at them. She ate very well for me, a lot actually, and even wanted up and dressed. First time she’s been out of bed in two weeks. I picked up bbq for us last night to have today for a low key even just us two, and a friend sent leftovers home with me to boot so I don’t have to cook for a few days. Blessed we are.

Had a good time, ate too much. We played cards most of the afternoon. Ended up with 9 here + 1 granddog.

After everyone left (about 5pm) Rosie and I finished putting Christmas decorations up outside. It was getting dark by the time we got the lights on the house, but they look good. Told Rosie, "It looks so good, I need to put the lights on the house in the dark from now on."
