#1 DAUGHTER TOOK THE WONDER DOG HOME WITH HER, AFRAID IT WOULD ICE UP HERE. I MISS HIM, FIRST TIME WE'VE BEEN PETLESS FOR YEARS. HE'S HAVING A BALL WITH THE GIRLS AND THE OTHER DOGS. SIL SAYS WHAT THAT DOG NEEDS IS A 12 YEAR OLD BOY.

Bacon. That sweet, salty, smokey flavored delight that makes life worth living. With eggs and buttered toast you have a great start to the day. My granny used to make gramps breakfast every morning as he poured over the morning paper. Simpler times. He didn't have a lot to do. I remember he had a push lawn mower (no motor). Granny went to church every morning at 06:00 AM then came home and made breakfast. She looked forward to watching "her stories", the soap operas, in the afternoon. Gramps wisely took that time to take a daily afternoon nap. He was a retired Boston Police officer. Met granny on his beat in Jamaica Plain in the 1920's. Had 4 kids. John Jr, my dad, James, Joseph and daughter Joanne, my aunts and uncles. ............... And I pulled that all from the mention of bacon.

Morning guys...a bit chilly here too, 9 now, but the weather gurus are saying we will see the mid 40s this afternoon.

We are headed back out to the countertop job. Talked to my friend, the contractor whom I'm helping on this one, and he said he wasn't feeling so hot yesterday and not sure he'd be out to finish that up, so we are going back out to try and finish that job up for him today.

Sounds like you are doing pretty good Gris. Tommy, I believe you have said something about the winters in Floda.

Very quiet here... just lay'n low, ya know? Took the week off and vegged for 10 days. Did get some things done, tho...

That's about it, really! Back to work and getting stuff done!

No more snow but we have some bitter cold to make up for it.

Gris, glad you're feeling better. Did you tell your daughter that acting like a 12 year old is the next best thing to being one?

Still haven't swapped the snow tires yet. Too cold to work outside. Neighbor wants me to work on her Cadillac but it looks like a two hour job with the hatch open, not doing that outside.

I went back to read yesterdays stuff and I posted but it’s not there.
In agreement with the whiskey suggestion Gris and sorry for what happened but am glad to see you doing all right. Cold here. I hate it. Was sommer just yesterday? That’s Arkansas for you. Snow due Thursday.
Went to the gym today but not much else. Making cookies just because as I had some cookie mix that needed used.
