G'morn.
Just got back from the mechanic's shop. Had to have my air compressor for my rear shocks replaced on the Suburban. Was making a lot of noise. I bought the part and they replaced it. Got an oil change as well so killed two birds .... Someone dumped a Chihuahua out my the nursery. Sue saw it happen but was facing the wrong way to get a tag. Some people are assholes. Several cars stopped to help round it up and I took it to the nursery. I'm gonna run it to the vet to get its nails clipped. Nails are so long she can't stand on one of her back legs because it hurts. Have to find it a new home or rescue group.
Letty, do you have any dental insurance? If you don't you can get it and put off what needs to be done till it kicks in.Might save you a little coin. Ask your dental office for any suggestions.
Plenty to do. I'm outa he-ya. LOL I had you all reading in Bostonian.

PRETTY DAY COMING UP IN THE NATIONS, 46 SHOOTING FOR 56 IN TAHLEQUAH. IT'S SUNNY WITH JUST A LITTLE BREEZE

I'LL BE HEADED OVER THERE AFTER NOON FOR A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT WITH THE CARDIOLOGIST. NEGATIVE REPORT ON MY PART. IT DOES INTERFERE WITH MY AFTERNOON NAP :-)

WAITING FOR THE MUFFLERS TO COME IN FOR THE '95, THAT MAY TAKE A WHILE UNDER PRESENT CONDITIONS.

WHILE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL BIG DAUGHTER TOOK DARLING WIFE'S LITTLE BLUE CAR TO TAHLEQUAH. DW PUT THE GARAGE DOOR DOWN ON HER BEFORE SHE BACKED OUT. BD PUNCHED EVERY BUTTON IN THE LBC TRYING TO GET THE DOOR UP. AFTER THAT THERE WAS A LITANY OF PROBLEMS; THE INTERIOR LIGHTS WOULD NOT GO OFF, THEN THEY WOULD NOT COME ON. I FINALLY GOT IT TO FUNCTION RIGHT, NOT SURE HOW---

THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY OLD CARS!

Good morning - nice and sunny here and a bit warmer, almost nice to be outside. got a VW bug to work on for a wrap, the guys are about to start install on the bus for the college. I never ever in my life want to do another bug. Like wrapping a basketball and no way to account for certain areas with the flag pattern I'm using. No way will the stripes exactly match butted up, just trying to find places to adjust cut areas so it blends.
Tommy, yes I have insurance but all the crowns he wants to do all need done at the same time, insurance only pays X amount per year for so many procedures. I'll have one crown next month $500 my part but they won't pay anything on except maybe one more this whole year. I wanted to do that one last year but due to covid that screweed me. He will use crowns to streamline teeth and have whiter, he does not have to do braces with what I have he can adjust with crowns. I'm not sure how but I've seen his work and it's some kind of wizardry my best guess. Things sure have come a long way. So with what he's doing, they all need done at once. I'm doing odd and end things prior to use what I can of insurance.
Got home last night and had a couple cake mixes that needed used, a chocolate and white. I added maple flavor to the white and used my angel food cake pan since it would hold that much mix. I poured it in to have a marbled look. Then after I slightly melted some store bought salted caramel icing to pour over it. Tastes like a huge pancake with cholate chips or something. It's awesome. Brought some up here for the boys, the rest I'll give to a friend. I've had one piece, it's rich and that was enough for me.
Tooth pulling went good, no need for the pain meds he had be get from the pharmacy, I'll save those in case I need one later for something. Managed to eat a cheeseburger last night, cut it into a bazillion tiny pieces and mushed them around, it took an hour but I got it done.
Y'all have a good day

So funny - and TRUE. Could be any Next Door (or FB group). Cracked me up. No offense meant. 🤣🤣🤣

Q: How many group members does it take to change a light bulb ?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed.
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
6 to argue over whether it's 'lightbulb' or 'light bulb'.
Another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid.
22 to tell THOSE 6 to stop being jerks.
5 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is 'lamp'.
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that 'light bulb' is perfectly correct.
49 to post memes and gifs (several are of Michael Jackson eating popcorn with the words added, “I’m just here for the comments.”)
19 to post that this page is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb page.
11 to defend the posting to this page saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant here.
24 to discuss the merits of LED/swirly fluorescent light bulbs
44 to claim LED and fluorescent bulbs will kill you.
12 to post F.
8 to ask what F means.
7 to post 'Following' but there's 3 dots at the top right that means you don't have to.
15 to say "can't share"
2 to reply "can't share from a closed group"
36 People to post pics of their own light bulbs.
15 People to post "I can't see S$%^!" and use their own light bulbs.
6 to report the post or PM an admin because someone said "f÷×$"
4 to say "Didn't we go through this already a short time ago?".
13 to say "Do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs".
5 admins to ban the light bulb posters who took it all too seriously.
1 late arrival to comment on the original post 6 months later and start it all over again.
20 to give up on fb and take their dogs for a walk instead.*****
And then somebody announces they are leaving the group over the light bulb post, and someone replies back that this isn't an airport so you don't need to announce your departure.
