He was probably just following a law that said ALL loads MUST be tied down.

G'mornin.

Trying to motivate. Yard day+ ahead. Got my prop back from the propeller shop on the same day. Sweet. Nice staff and a quick turn around time. Sue has an upcoming foot surgery. They're going to sever a nerve that is running through scar tissue and is causing her great pain. Weather is returning to warm temps. Our blast of low 50's is over for now.

Have a wonderful day.

Good Morning CGs!

Brutal cold here. About -9* right now. Some schools cancelled, ours didn't.

Picked up a huge lot of tools the other day. Basically what filled a triple bay box from a retired mechanic. Lots of junk, unfortunately. I pulled out all of the good stuff and started organizing and listing. I've already got 8+ hours between driving, loading, unloading, organizing, etc. I haven't done a full box in a while so I forgot how much work it was. Oh well it always seems to work out in the end.

Tommy, what's the status with the fence offender?

Hope everyone has a great day!

The culprit is unknown. Pure speculation at this point. The fix was just a few hours and under $100. I took that karma to the casino and pulled out $250 ahead.

At least it was a relatively cheap and easy repair. I'm assuming it was a cyclone fence. In Illinois we cement the posts in at least 36" down due to the frost line. Not sure how you guys do it.

Hey guys, busy busy day. Lumber truck here early, 7:55. Temp at that time was 8 and a slight breeze made it feel like -5. With all the snow yesterday, school was canceled, so GS #3 was able to be here helping me.

Then we worked in the shop putting drawer slides in the cabinet boxes the rest of the morning. About 11, aa guy called me (we had spoken a couple weeks back) about When I thought I would be able to come over and install his attic pull-down ladder, "I'm not pushing, just wondering". "You know, I've got my GS here today and I'll call my buddy and see if we can't get that done this afternoon. So we went over this afternoon and did some MAJOR surgery and by 6:30pm had the new ladder installed. Have to go back tomorrow to finsh up the sheetrock and a little insulation.

Lumber made it here (early morning) but my other delivery is sitting in the freight company warehouse 80 miles away since early Monday morning. I called to find out why? when it was scheduled to be delivered yesterday. The response was "You're in a remote area and we don't deliver there every day. It mmight be another 4 or 5 days." BULLSH!T. Well, that's what I get for living in WAY rural southwest Kansas.

I had a post yesterday, that I thought was posted, but NO. Hopefully this one won't get lost in cyberspace.
