I may have moved right and accidently realigned my back or freed the pinched nerve. Only time will tell. Feels halway decent for the moment Now if I can get my neck and sinuses to join the in then all will be well.

Morning guys...back from Church, but headed back pretty soon. An acquaintance (same age as me) passed and funeral is today. I guess he wasn't feeling well and his family called the ambulance, but before they got there, he went into full cardiac arrest and they could not revive him. When we moved here (1979) he had just bought a 1980 Corvette. he had it a few years and then got married and started his family and was without a Corvette for many years. He would tell me he wanted to get back into one and in 2013, the Chevy gealer over in the 'city' called him and had a Centenial GS that he bought...not sure what his wife will do with it now.

Last couple of days have been nearly perfect, weather-wise, today cloudy, cool, windy and threats of rain....which I hope and pray are real.

The company I ordered the tops from, which one was screwed up, emailed me yesterday saying they were shipping the replacement, and it should be here next week before we leave on vacation.

I don't get it either.... the check if deposited would have to clear and money in my bank before I would transfer title. In this case who gets scammed? The bank the check is written on? I don't get it...... if the check is bogus everything stops and no sale...

Did get the Carman Electra Glide out yesterday in the warm air.... a few miles and all my troubles seem to fade away... today rainy and in the 50's..... don't take any wooden nickels Guru's...... don't offer me any either...

Beautiful perfect day here today and I'm stuck at work. Of course when I'm off tomorrow it will be storming and cooler. Figures. every freakin year. Oh well. I need to change my schedule I reckon.
Marcus - my aunt got scammed like that. Some company offered to pay her to put a soft drink wrap on her car sent her a cashier's check - but what it actually was, the bank said, was a type of note that gives them access to what's in your account. She was cleaned out of her social security check plus some. I never heard if it got worked out or not, I guess it did, but I do wraps and they know that and they asked me and I told my cousin this was a scam and she did it anyway. Don't feel bad about it, scammers are getting smarter and more slick. They troll Craiglist and Marketplace and such looking for people to take advantage of. The bank either won't accept, or they accept then charge back or use a non legit third party escrow service, or buyer will pressure you into a wire transfer and be gone leaving out out of money. And, by then you have signed over your car so they have your car for the cost of a tow truck. Never accept a cashier's check unless they bring it in person and can go with you to your bank to cash it, or it's done bank to bank transfer. Or cold cash and you meet at a bank to have bills verified at the bank as authentic.
In other news, Oneta will be let loose from the hospital today, I'm apprehensive, doc noted it and is including some particular notes in his discharge instructions. She checks out on vitals, no bacteria, no infections, just a weaker heart and woundcare so there's no reason for her to be there taking up a bed. I will go check on her tomorrow.

No, do not answer. If your local PD has an 'internet crimes' division, report it to them and block the email and phone numbers so they cannot contact you.
Nursing home called me to say they received Oneta, went into detail about her bedsores and what not and of course, tried to lay blame on the hospital. BS, sick of it - after the tornado, she had no bedsores, the new facility didn't do their job and she's diabetic so she got them fast but she wasnt in a hospital when she got them. I'm bout to piss someone off tomorrow. I told them I'd be there tomorrow to see her, I plan to ask to have bandages removed so I can photograph them for comparison.
